"Sis" she felt Jalen put his hand on her shoulder. "What's going on with you and Book?"
"Nothing. I- thought we were cool."
"Sorry Z. The rest of the team is still waiting tho. Come on, only 4 more lives and then tomorrow I get naked for Mr.February" he chuckled.
"Absolutely not! You will have on clothes. I will not shoot you nude."
He stopped walking "but I been doing my push ups"
"Shutup" she laughed before pushing him into the facility.

Zendaya parked across the street from the hotel before getting out her car. The closer she got to the front door her eyebrows scrunched together. "What are you doing here Keith?"
She could tell Keith was trying to avoid eye contact with her. "Keith.."
"They let him go."
"I- what do you mean they let him go?"
"His lawyer talked the judge into letting him go home with a ankle monitor. I know that doesn't help at all. Not with a guy like this but there's was nothing I could do. I'm sorry."
"So what? I'm back to looking over my shoulder every minute?"
"He can't leave the location he gave to the judge. I did however get a trail date for a week away. His lawyer was pushing for four months away. I'm guessing to figure out a way to win over the jury."
"There's no evidence that he did it tho."
"You gotta trust me, I been working on some stuff. I shared it with the lawyer your mom provided and all I need you to do next week is get on the stand and tell the truth. I'm not gonna let you down.... do you need me to stay with you?"
"He's on house arrest right?"
"Yes he goes a mile from that location and Phoenix police gonna be on his ass"
"I'll be okay Keith."
"Z-"
"Stop. I'm okay" she laughed "Have a goodnight" she put a hand on his shoulder.
He placed his hand on top of hers. "Goodnight beautiful" he watched her walk into the hotel.
Zendaya double checked the locks behind her before checking every corner and closet in the room. Finally feeling like all was good she headed for the shower. Putting on sweats and a sports bra she looked through the fridge all the items instantly making her mind go to Devin, she sighed before settling on a bowl of cereal.
Curling up on the couch with the entire box and gallon of milk she turned on Netflix and picked Lucifer.
4 episodes and a box of cereal later her phone went off with multiple notifications. Zendaya picked up her phone almost dropping it at the messages.
