chapter 6

I dont know how I am going to face today I have no idea what is coming at me today,.honestly, I wish I don;t have to leave my room.I guess i could say my morning got better when my mum came bursting through the door .she looked so happy with a wide grin plastered across her face while made smile just as wide.

"Elle, I have good news and bad news, "she said bubbling with joy

Well, I guess my morning is off to a good start, I urged her to tell me more about the good news than the bad news or should I have asked about the bad news first.Fuck it I just want to hear what's making my mum smile this much. I quickly made space for her to sit on my bed and start talking

"Elle, I have a way we can get back to where we started, we need to sell the house and move down the ranks, I know this not what you wished for in a thousand years, I know what this going to do to your life but I think I can do this, all I need to do is to contact a few friends but first we need to move from this neighbourhood because honestly we cant afford it again but I promise you I will do everything in my power to get us back to the top. Elle, I need your approval I cant do this without you she said coming closer to me with her pleading eyes trying to get my consort stroking my hair.

I did trust my mum; I knew she would come through. They are no point living here anymore if we cant afford it, they is no need pretending, I am sure my friends will still accept me no matter how under my status will go, so I gave her a frantic hug and gave her a go-ahead silently praying that this goes well. my mum smile after my approval warmed my heart ,I could see the determination in her eyes to make us right again which made me make a silent vow within myself to do anything possible to help her out.

"thank you, Elle, I will find a buyer today and after that, I will get us a place, so we can move there, have a nice day Hun .just relax I will take care of everything, "she said giving me a kiss before leaving my room.

Once she left, I started getting ready for school ,forgetting about Taylor and Ethan ,my mums smile and determination must have done something because I felt so strong and excited but sadly, my moment was ruined when I patty came in looking unbalanced as she ran here.I was about to giggle and roll my eyes but the moment spoiler came along.

"I tried to stop him honestly, "patty told me, I nodded with a tight lip.

"what do you want, "I asked him with a scowl after giving patty a raised brow

"babe, 'he said coming closer to me touching my arm which I jerked away

"I am not your babe, "I said looking at him straight in the eye

Patty left, I think she decided we needed alone time.in a way I was grateful for that but still I didn't want to be alone with Ethan.

"dont throw us away, "he said rubbing his forehead

I laughed at the word us, like he cared about 'us'

"Ethan define us?, I have no idea what has come over you. Dont come over here to tell me shit, you are the one throwing us away "I said, trying to be calm,

I'm getting tired of the conversation already.

"I am sorry for the way I have been acting ok, this college stuff it's really getting to me, Elle pls understand. "he pleaded

"so, your telling me, the way you have been neglecting me and my feelings these past days is right, I needed you that night yet you never called back or even bothered to apologies or ask why I called. that night ,you saw my mum go berserk yet you left thinking about that Charlie guy stealing your power and the worst of all your atrocities you couldnt at least stand up for me, now here you are telling me to understand you have college pressure, quite being a child and own up for your shortcoming, " told him

Getting my bag off my bed ,I made for the door only for Ethan to stop me dragging back to him leaving no space in between us. I unconsciously stared at his eyes before my body tried to take over I reminded myself that Ethan wont learn to treat me how I'm worth if I give him.

"Elle Im sorry, I need you, yes Im being a child but please dont leave me, "he said boring blue his eyes into my brown eyes,

when he saw I wasnt moved he went in for a kiss ,my body wanted so badly to let his tongue dance around my mouth but I pushed him away and slammed the door .I walked downstairs to see my mum and patty smiling and laughing by the kitchen island, suddenly all the anger I felt melted away.

"honey I didnt think you will be done by now what happened, "she asked spotting me at the foot of the stairs.

I walked over to the island where they were to ask how come Ethan had followed Patricia all the way to my room ,only Ethan to come down the stairs. Taking one look at me before leaving through the door

"Are you going to forgive him, "both my mum and patty said at the same time making me laugh a little

"Maybe," I said making a shrug and before going to make my hot chocolate to calm my nerves.

Hey!, so that it for this week sorry its a little bit shorter .
