Chapter 7

I spent the next three weeks packing and resettling over at the new house it wasnt as big my former house and it was different not as spacious but it was something. Moving was a nice distraction from the whole situation with Ethan and Taylor regardless of that I had this throbbing feeling I have gotten more than a fair amount of rest from the curveballs in my life.

I had this pile of negativity in my head just waiting to pour out once I had positive thoughts, its just something was going to sneak up. I dont know if it was just this habit of thinking negatively nowadays, what can I say, I cant help but realistic.

My mum hasnt gotten any strong investor and we only own a small bridal shop which my mum now manages. Who could ever had imagined the great business tycoon, Mrs. Evelyn Crest selling bridal stuff in small shop down town .Well change is inevitable and unforeseen,I just hope she gets investors so she can expand.

I know it just a .matter of time before I get the next hit, I was writing SAT prep in two weeks with my resettling and now having to help my mum I can say I have no hope In getting a scholarship. I only ever read to get in not to get a scholarship, I thought about all this until patty came over to drive me to school. Honestly I'm so glad I had a friend as loyal as Patty ,I just hope she never breaks my trust

"Elle dont you think its time you forgave Ethan and no I dont believe you hate him even if you keep talking to Charlie with the British accent, I added British there in case you want to avoid the topic as usual," she said glancing at me slightly before focusing back on the road.

I rolled my eyes at patty, sure I have been avoiding the whole Charlie talk ,sure he calls me every night and makes me laugh but I'm not sure I want him

" I guess your right, he keeping texting me even when I blocked his number, he keeps hitting me up with different numbers, even Taylor, as for Charlie, I have nothing to say we dont meet, just texting and night calls thats all besides he just check up on me I barely see him in school hes in all the advanced placement classes so "I said

"omg he definitely likes you Elle" she said squealing

"I doubt he's just being nice" I countered rolling my eyes again

"so are we bringing the gang back together or what, "she said with a smug smile, probably deciding to drop the Charlie's topic.

"sure, we will do it at lunch besides, I have more things to worry about the bridal shop needs help and exam is approaching, "I said

"Elle you will be fine, just calm down, "she said before we reached our school

Surprisingly I saw Charlie, I have never seen him when we get to school before, he was coming out of his black BMW 2019 editions his hair is ruffled looks like he was rushing, he wore a pair of black jeans along with a pullover shirt and a pair of Air Nike's for someone rushing he looks so tasty.

"Elle, not to interrupt but we will be late soon, " patty said cutting off my staring,

it was a nice distraction .Now I have to remember all my worries, thank you Patricia Watson .We were about to leave when Patty's science partner came up .He must have said "hi" because Patty kept hitting me my hand so I smiled at him and said a small "hi". I was about to look at my phone to get a little distraction from my head when I heard that British accent.

"now love you dont have that smile we talked about"

"Charlie, "I said looking up,my mood lifted and I found myself grinning

"Damn if I knew your this happy to see me, I will come to a tad late every day, "he said with a wink

I laughed, bit my lip and said

"of course, Im happy to see you, how come your late though"

"Netflix, really addictive when you find the right show," he said pulling out a million-dollar smile

"or you were hooking, you can tell me" I teased him

"now love that not something to hide I wasn't," he said with a small laugh

"so, you were," I said giving him little push on his hand

"no, Im serious it was Netflix, but if you would be available for me I dont mind," he said with a smirk,

I blushed which made him laugh at my redness when I tried to hide it he held my hand in his

"don't hide your innocence love, I like it, now keep that smile up for me, I will see you around "he said walking out

I felt like the ground should just open and swallow me whole when it closes up ,well Charlie wasn't exactly lying, I was innocent. I have only ever had one guy which was Ethan I didnt hook up or do somethings a normal seventeen-year-old would have done by now, I guess I'm talking things at my own pace.

"Elle, if your done blushing we need to go," patty said with a smirk

"you saw all that," I asked

"I'm not blind Elle, I saw enough to know you're flirting sublimely," patty said smirking

"I'm not," I said hitting her slightly

"yeah sure you weren't, "she said with sarcasm dripping in her voice dragging me inside the school building
