she went on two dates with bryce already. y/n started to catch feelings for him. even though, she never intended on it. however, mikey tried to get her out of his head.

it was now july, mikey couldn't make up his mind. school would start next month, which means homecoming as well. mikey sat on his bed, it wasn't too late. it was only 11, yet he scrolled thru her instagram.

he smiled at a picture of her. she could do anything and it would have him smiling. even though, she wasn't his. she was bryces, and he made it clear to bronny and him.

lately, y/n has been with bryce a lot. she barely made time for mikey. which, she felt bad for. when she first met him they went out together 24/7. so of course, she texted him.

y/n smiled to herself. at least, she was putting in time for him. y/n put on a swim suit , and put an oversized hoodie over it. she checked her phone for the time before heading out.

she drove to the beach. she was always there first. y/n got out and went to their spot. she sat on the rocks, texting bryce and scrolling thru socials

she sighed, he was getting quite close with valerie. who was she to say anything though. they were only talking. mikey wasn't there yet, but she was tired of waiting. y/n took off the hoodie, feeling the warm air. weird how it was barely cold at night. she walked down the rocks towards the water. the moonlight made it bright enough to see where she was going.

y/n sat in the sand where the water rushed up towards her stomach only. she thought about how life used to be. things changed a lot. how she used to be in santa monica living freely with her small group of friends. now, she was just adjusting. it wasn't bad in san diego, just wasn't like home.

she stared at the sky and water. mikey finally arrived. he saw her from the rocks, he took off his shirt and walked over. "hey," he smiled and helped her up, pulling her into a hug.

y/n hugged onto his bare torso, "hey." she pulled away and stares at him. "i needed company,"

mikey nodded and took her hand as they went further into the water. "ready?" he surprised her by jumping into a wave. she covered her nose and closed her eyes.

they got back up and she playfully hit his chest. "you ass clown," mikey started to laugh. he took her into the deeper area, holding her. "you better not drop me."

"i won't," he smiled. in the moment, the moon shined on them. the stars were bright, and the water barely made waves. if so, they were light and wouldn't push above their heads.

y/n turned her head , looking around. everything was beautiful. she faced mikey now, he took the risk. mikey leaned in and kissed her. she deepened the kiss placing her hand on the back of his neck.

there wasn't anything else that mikey didn't regret about this. the kiss lasted for a few seconds and he pulled away. she hugged him, her head resting onto his shoulder. they didn't question anyone of their interests that they were supposedly talking to. it was just y/n and mikey, no one else.
