You sat on Ashley's bed your nose was stuffed up and your stomach was on its side pushing away any food you tried to put in it. Ashley had gone to the store to get you some chicken soup and orange juice. You were half watching some horrible judge show when you heard the door slam in the next room over. "Babe, I'm back!" Ashley peeked his head into the room and smiled sympathetically at you. He wandered in and set two plastic bags down on the floor. He sat next to you and ran his fingers through your hair. "How ya' feeling? Any better?" You shook your head and leaned into his hand that continued to run through your hair. "Nope... " Ashley smiled gentley and kissed the top of your head.
"I'm sowwy you're sick, I wish I could make you feel better." You giggled.
"So do I Ashy, so do I." You snuggled against him and felt your eyes starting to droop a little bit.
"Awwhaha, is (Y,X) sleepy?" You nodded against his chest and yawned.
"Can you lay here with me Ashy? Pretty please..." Ashley let out a low chuckle.
"Of course I can." Ashley stood up and hooked his arms under your legs and back. He laid down on the bed and laid you down ontop of him. You fit perfectly there on his torso. You giggled a little. "Ashy I don't want to sufficate you..." Ashley nuzzled your cheek and said softly.
"You're light as a feather my cute little dove. Now hush and go to sleep already." You snuggled against him smiling and mumbled. "Okay Ashy..." Sweet sluber followed after your words. The gentle beat of Ashley's heart only guided you further into sleep. It made you feel so wonderfully safe and happy. Little did you know this serene feeling would fade all too quickly the next day.
