Remi POV
I woke up in Rusty James's arms feeling safe. He woke up shortly after. I got up and decided to make breakfast for all of us. Remi:"Morning boy, I'm sorry today is gonna be a me and you day" I told Delgado while petting him. He licked my face and I kissed his head. Steve and Rusty James finally came downstairs. I fixed breakfast and gave them a plate. Remi:"I'm not the best chef but  hope that it's still edible" they both laughed. We all sat down and enjoyed our food. Steve:"it's not that bad. Is there any chocolate cake?" I laughed and got up. Remi:"Yes Steve!" Steve:"YAY CAKE!" we all laughed and I brought the cake. We all finished our food and left for the Curtis house. When we got there to my surprise Rebekah wasn't there. Remi:"Soda where's your girlfriend of yours?" Soda:"I don't know" Remi:"oh... are you ready for work?" he nodded and we left. Remi:"Soda looks meh" Steve:"whatever don't care about him because he didn't care for you when he was with her." I nodded and we soon arrived at our work. I went to the back with Soda. It was an awful silent. I hated this. Remi:"Soda?" Soda:"hmmm?" Remi:"do you hate me?" he looked at me and he had wide eyes. Soda:"no! why would you think that?" Remi:"I don't know... I mean ever since you and Rebekah met I seem to never be able to talk to you or hang out with you, I just feel like I lost my best friend..." Soda:"I'm so sorry that you fell like that. But no I don't hate you and no you didn't loose me. I'm sorry Remi but your stuck with me for life" he said with a smile. I smiled and nodded. Remi:"I'm sorry I think that I overthink too much" Soda:"It's okay, it's normal" he came up to me and hugged me I hugged him back. Man I really missed talking to him and just the feeling of his hugs. I guess I still love him... He pulled away and we stared to work.
~Time Skip~
I was still working with Soda on the same car when I saw that Rusty James pulled up. Remi:"I wonder why he's here" Soda looked up and shrugged. He came in and came up to me. Rusty James:"Remi can we talk?" Remi:"Yeah sure what's up?"

Rusty James POV
I decided to stop by Remi's work and tell her about New York. I only have a few months left before I have to leave. So I'm gonna tell her. I soon got there and I saw her working on a car with Sodapop. Rusty James:"Remi can we talk?" RemiL:Yeah sure what's up?" Rusty James:"remember a couple weeks ago I got that phone call?" Remi:"yeah?" Rusty James:"Well my old friend Smokey told me that he needed me back in New York in a couple months." Remi:"So... you'll be leaving?" I nodded sadly. She started to cry, I hated to see her sad. I wraped my arms around her and kissed her. Remi:"I don't wanna loose you" Rusty James:"You'll never ever loose me" I huged her tighter and I didn't want to let her go. Rusty James:"you should head back to work. I'll see you later" Remi:"okay I'll see you later." I kissed her and left. I am sure gonna miss her.

Remi POV
I wiped my tears away and started to work again. Soda:"Remi are you okay?" Remi:"yeah... let's just work okay?" he nodded and we continued working. The day soon came to an end and we closed up. Remi:"He's leaving in a few months" I told both of them, even if Soda already knew. Steve:"aww Remi I'm sorry. It's gonna be okay. Just enjoy most of the time you two have left." I nodded and we walked at the Curtis house. When we got there I saw him. I rushed towards him and hugged him tighly. Rusty James:"I'm not leaving now." Remi:"I know but I want to hug you and spend as much time as I can with you" Two:"what's going on?" Dally:"he's leaving in a couple months" Two:"ohhh..." We spent the whole afternoon hugging and cuddling.
~Few Weeks Later~
He's been staying with me and Steve ever since he told me that he was leaving for New York. We keep spending all of our time together. Remi:"I love you" Rusty James:"I love you more" we spent the day cuddling and watching movies. We both fell asleep with Delgado on the couch. I felt something go on me. I opened my eyes and Steve had put a blanked over us. Steve:"night love you" Remi:"love you too" I soon fell asleep cuddling closer to him.
