Homecoming time! Hope you guys are just as excited as I am! Enjoy!
Rowan's P.O.V.
"That's ridiculous. Seriously, so you got yelled at instead of the thief herself, that's unbelievable."
"Thank you! Anyways, let's get ready at your place. I do not want to stay home. In fact, can I sleep over?" I asked dreading the thought of seeing Rachel.
"Of course!! Just head to my place when you're done. My mom will be home and I'll let her know."
"Thanks Luce! Seriously, love you bunches. Why couldn't you have been my sister?" I leaned into her as she wrapped her arms around me.
"You know, I'm here too." Naethan grumbled eating his chicken sandwich.
We bursted laughing as he sulked claiming he was going to get new friends.
"Of course you come over and get ready with us too!" Lucie squealed throwing her arms around him catching him off guard.
After lunch, I drove home, packed and left with a note at my door saying I would be at Lucies. Of course I locked my door and took the spare key I knew my parents had and left. Arriving at Lucie's home, I knocked on the door and was greeted by Mrs. Collin.
"Rowan! Welcome!" She threw her arms around me pulling me into a tight hug.
"I'm baking cookies right now, would you like to help?"
And with that, we cooked five trays of cookies. I also helped make dinner as Lucie wouldn't be back until six pm due to presidential duties at school. When Lucie and Naethan arrived, we all ate with Lucies parents before heading to her room.
"I have face masks!" I said excitedly pulling out some korean face sheets.
Naethan wasn't so enthusiastic but he placed it on his face. We watched Camp Rock together while Lucie and I did our nails before we finally headed to bed to get rest.
The following morning, I woke up and helped make breakfast with Mrs. Collins. She was excited for us as this was the first time homecoming was so grand all thanks to Lucie accumulating money since freshmen year with the class of 2018. Soon enough it was time for us all to get ready.
As Naethan showered, I steamed his suit for him and our dresses. Lucie was starting on her hair pinning her beautiful hair up. I soon followed and by 6:30 we were all ready. Lucie wore a high low, poofy, and ruffled strapless black dress with clear heels. Her hair was pinned up with some curls framing her face and makeup was smokey with bright, red lips.
