At school Lizzie runs into Nia and goes up to her.
"Hey, just the little sister I was looking for I need answers and I need them now. Your brother is very mysterious about our date tonight." Lizzie tells her.
"He's a very mysterious guy apparently." Nia says laughing and Lizzie laughs too.
"Look, he won't even tell me where we're going can you just give me a hint? Are we going to some secret club to see the best unsigned band in Brooklyn?" Lizzie continues sarcastically.
"You don't leave much for surprise do you?" Nia says sarcastically too.
"Well I don't know how to dress for a surprise not everything goes with it you know." Lizzie tells her.
They both continue walking.
"Well, I'd say jeans and a T-shirt are a safe bet." Nia tells her.
Then Lizzie's phone rings it's Jeremy calling her he was finally going to leave the facility for the weekend.
Then they make it to the courtyard where Josie is at with her girls.
"What was that I heard? Jeremy is coming home? It's perfect timing." Josie says happily.
"How so?" Lizzie responds.
"It gives your mother and brother time to bond alone while you get drunk on Schnapps and moon the NYU dorms from the limo." Josie says sarcastically and Lizzie chuckles.
"What are you talking about?"
"L, it's only the most important night of the fall." Josie says.
Then Lizzie clicks it together.
"Oh, the sleepover." She says totally forgetting about it.
"I prefer Soiree, sleepover is so sophomore year." Josie says rolling her eyes playfully.
"Look, you know I can't go to that, I have that plan." Lizzie says talking about the date with Mg.
"Lizzie when there is a Josie Soiree, there's nothing else in the social calendar." Josie says.
"Josie, the plan is Mg remember the guy that you realize is actually a human being and worthy of your time and attention? No offense." Lizzie says turning to Nia.
"None taken." She says with a chuckle.
"Look, I'm really sorry but this date is unbreakable maybe we can swing by later or.." Lizzie says but Josie cuts her off.
