The dynamic seems kinda cute but I don't think it could ever work. Futaba may cooperate with him in the 3rd sem, but she does not forgive him for what happened to her mother, and likely never will. It would unhealthy for them to enter a relationship in the canon universe. That being said, outside of the canon, tech nerd and dork detective go brr.
If we ignore the 3rd sem then sure, could be cute. Futaba would definitely clown Goro on the daily, but could help him with his work in some way. This ones wayyy more platonic than romantic in my eyes.
