Wei Ying was taken aback by this straight forwardness and demanded an explanation, "why do you care for me? I thought you hated me?! How could you have feelings for such an idiot and rule-breaker like me? Aren't you supposed to love a beautiful maiden or someone like that? Why me?" Wei Ying exclaimed.
Lan wangi, "..."
Wei Ying, "....?"
Lan wangi, " Wei Ying."
Wei Ying, "Lan Zhan?"
Lan Zhan then spoke again "why?" Wei Ying was unsure of what to do so just replied, "uhm... Why what, ahha? Did I do something in the future that was enough to make the hanguang-jun break?" Wei Ying joked to calm the tension in the atmosphere that was starting to rise. "Why? Why didnt you come back for me when I waited 13 years for your return... Did you not love me?" Lan wangi whispered the last bit nervously.
"You- you waited 13 years f-for me?!" Wei Ying choked on his invisible tea. Lan wangi was in bit of a pickle because he isn't the one to talk so much or surprisingly give an explanation about something so he didn't know what to do but hope the other understands. Although, he does admit that it is quite a shock to take in as someone who you've met quite a while ago completely change and his personality with it, you'd think he was possessed!

After he left Lan Zhan he made a quick excuse to get out of cloud recess and could have borrowed a jade token from a certain tall man with a grumpy personality who hates his guts completly.
He went off to meet his dear brother once more for he has been missing and longing to meet his brother once again and stop his tragic death from ever coming true! Nie Huaisung booked a meeting with the Clan leader in a certain cave that nobody would visit. He entered the cave and saw his brother and tears slowly started to fill his eyes as the other approached him with a questionable gaze.
"Huaisung? What are you doing here?" The big one spoke gently a little concerned. Nie Huaisung shouted, "Da-ge!!! I missed you!" And ran to him and embraced him in a tight hug avoiding all the formalities and etiquette of a future clan leader. His brother was quite shook but brushed it off while trying to comfort his teary baby brother. "Huaisung, what happened?"
"You died...I-i couldn't do anything....i- you- " he stuttered but continued " I went back in time..." Nie Huaisung said in a low voice. His brother, "you- what? Impossible..." He spoke watching his brother get all clingy and back to his usual annoying self. "Huaisung....I'm sorry. If any of that will happen I'll be sure to avoid it, okay? We will go through this together!"
