Chapter two I can do it-Luz pov

 I look up at the school's clock, 2:30 class is about to end. I've had this thought in the back of my mind ever since Monday. The school's Grom is on Friday and I want to ask Amity to it. But I'm a bit scared because what if she says no. I shake that thought out of my head as I walk to my locker and I see her. 'Alright, Luz, you can do this just ask her, and if she says no you won't run away crying.' "Hey, Amity", I try saying in my cool voice. "Oh hi, Luz what's up." She says smiling at me, I love her smile so much. 'I can do it, I can do it.' "Are you kidding me she says looking down at her phone?" "What is it", "my brother and sister need me they say its really important this time, hey can you hold your thought in tell tomorrow?" "Ya, sure," I said looking down. She touched my cheek. "I promise to listen to what you have to say tomorrow." I smile "ok see you tomorrow," I smiled as she walked away. Tomorrow alright.
