Cha 1.) Sonia Nevermind

Hopes Peak Academy! The school of the arts held a small amount of students. Only the most talented attended here. In the school resided a theatre major known as Gundham Tanaka. His aura was dark and mysterious but he was quite the opposite. He was truly a softy who loved the company of animals. He'd take his pet hamsters everywhere, in fact!

They were, unfortunately, his only friends.. Other than Kazuichi Soda, an engineer major and Sonia Nevermind, another theatre major like Gundham himself.

Sonia wasn't just any girl though.

No, not at all!

Gundham had a secret.

The dark and mysterious theatre major was in love with this angel like woman. He'd been deeply in love with her since their freshmen year where he'd met her in his theatre class.

Now, Gundham was the type to place himself on a pedestal. He was a pretty confident guy but around Sonia, oh was he how pathetic he turned.

Gundham would do just about anything for Sonia and in this particular day Sonia had something in mind.

"Gundham, good morning!" Sonia greeted with that usual smile that made Gundham's insides twist.

"So-Sonia!" Gundham was surprised as the girl had came from what seemed to be no where.

"Aw, did I scare you? I am dearly sorry!" She spoke sincerely.

"Ehem- er- I wasn't scared, not at all!" Gundham shook his head repeatedly. His face a light shade of red.

"So! I came here to tell you... There's this play I just got accepted into!" Her white teeth glistened as she smiled. "It's the 'Romeo And Juliet' play!" She said as she swayed side to side, hands clasped together.

"And guess what part I got, Gundham? Go on!" Sonia waited in excitement.

Gundham smirked. "Of course you got Juliet's!" His voice sparked of confidence. He knew how talented Sonia was in the performing art, he couldn't think of any other part to give her.

"I got Juliet's!" She nodded and made little high pitched noises filled with joy.

"Of course, I mean someone as talented as you! I wouldn't have expected anything different.." Gundham smiled to himself.

"What was that, Gundham?" She asked leaning closer.

"Nothing!" The boy took his scarf over his red cheeks. Gundham had rather pale skin and it was fairly easy to tell when we was blushing. He couldn't dare let Sonia see. His friend, Kazuichi, would rarely be seen this flushed.

"Well, I just wanted to let you know! I'll see you later, maybe I'll even see your name on the audition slip..?" She suggested as she started to walk off.

"W-Wait!" Gundham called out.

"Yes, Gundham?" She turned to face the other who still covered his face.

"Sonia... Ne-Nevermind.." Gundham looked to the ground. He wanted to ask about the play but decided not to.

"Yes... That is indeed my name!" She asked giggling a bit. She knew what he'd meant.

"I meant never mind like.. I changed my mind." Gundham rubbed the back of his neck not understanding Sonia's joke she'd just pulled. Sonia's smile stayed as she came close adjusting Gundham's scarf.

"S-Sonia-"

"You really do carry them with you all of the time, huh." Sonia noticed his hamsters that were tucked into his scarf. She giggled at such a cute sight, both the hamsters and Gundham's flushed face.

"Y-Yes, they help me intimidate anyone who dares to pick a fight with me."

"Right, right." Sonia tried not to laugh at how serious Gundham seemed.

The usual stoic Gundham was being pummeled by multiple waves of embarrassment right now.

"They're so cute, hm!" She exclaimed petting them.

"Th-They aren't c-cute.. They're... They.." Gundham quickly got distracted watching Sonia play with the rodents. After a while she tucked them away.

"You know.. No one has been given Romeo's part yet. I know that.. Kazuichi... Wanted to audition.. You should audition!" Sonia suggested.

Gundham of course wanted to! Sonia being his Juliet? That's all he wanted. He knew the tale of 'Romeo And Juliet' well but.. They'd be all lovey dovey to each other and it would all just be an act. Gundham wouldn't be able to take it!

"Okay, I'll try.." Gundham went wide eyed to his answer. His mouth had spoken without his thought coming to an end.

"Yay!" She clasped her hands together. "Well, then! I'll see you later, Gundham! Make your your hamsters don't get caught today!" She yelled in the crowded hallway.

"They shall never!" Gundham assured her. A teacher was quick to peak her head from her classroom.

"Someone has hamsters?!" She asked concerned.

"Uh- er- No! No hamsters here, now forget!" Gundham took out a small ball throwing it onto the floor. A harmless smoke erupted from it and he quickly ran off.

"W-What the-?!"
