Regina was able to transport herself and Red Shoes back, but she was nearly drained of her magic.

"Bind her." Regina ordered her mirror as she readied another apple.

"Eat this darling, and you'll get your freedom." Regina held out the apple.

"Where's my father?" Red Shoes demanded.

"Royal, loyal little girl, pining for your Papa!?" Regina badgered as she scoffed.

"This is getting a little boring, so I need you to take a bite, and I'll tell you." Regina nodded.

"I won't let you win. You've torn apart my family, and you won't get away with it Regina." Red Shoes warned.

"Oh, I'm so scared Snow. Very well, a different approach." The doors suddenly opened as large roots were entangled around Merlin.

"Merlin!"

"Sno-!" His voice was muffled, though it seemed he was calling out her name.

"Eat the apple or watch him die. That's your choice." Regina looked over at Red Shoes.

"Promise to me, you'll let him go." She looked at Merlin who was objectively shaking his head and shouting at the top of his lungs in protest, but the root across his mouth prevented his voice from being heard.

"Absolutely, when the third bell chimes, everything will be as it was before." Regina said with a sly smile.

"Save my Papa for me." Then Red Shoes bit into the apple. She slowly felt the poison coursing through her veins as her eyes filled with tears. Her legs turned into a trunk as her arms began turning into branches as she cried out in pain. Merlin was taken away as he thrashed about and tried to escape. His heart was breaking as he watched the painful look on her face. Regina laughed in conquest as she waited behind closed doors for Snow White to become a magic apple tree.
