Richard's POV
Richard woke up the following morning and sat straight up, panting and covered in sweat. He looked around and saw he was in his room, with his dark brown wooden canopy bed, covered in a dark grey comforter with white sheets and the same shade of grey colored pillows. The walls were pure white, same with the ceiling, and there was the same brown as the bed dresser and wardrobe. He stood up and walked over to his bathroom, splashing cold water on his face from the sink on his black wood counter, trying to forget the nightmare that haunted him every night when he closed his eyes. Trying to forget about seeing her, caught in the flames, tears pouring out of her eyes, her mouth forming words that were drowned out by the building collapsing on top of her. He looked in the mirror and combed back his thinning grey hair, seeing the white walls all around him and his sterling silver and fogged glass shower. He walked back to his wardrobe and pulled out his faded loose jeans and a loose black tshirt. He pulled on some brown loafers and went back to the bathroom to brush his teeth. When he was ready he walked out of his room, grabbing his phone. He stepped on the elevator and headed down to the 7th floor, where all of the younger agents slept.
He walked over to Maggie's room first and knocked. She told him he could come in so he opened the door and stepped in, seeing Maggie dressed and ready. She was wearing a red tshirt with stressed dark blue jeans, grey Nike's, and her hair was pulled back in a high pony tail.
"Hey, Maggie. I'm getting everyone, training today. You ready?" She nods and grabs her phone and a waterbottle, stepping out the door and heading to the left. They knocked again and were told to come in, and they saw Anthony, wearing red and black basketball shorts, a red Nike shirt, and some black Nike shoes. When he saw Maggie he smiled, grabbed his phone and waterbottle, and walked over to her, they held hands and started chatting as Richard led them further to the left. They walked past plenty of empty rooms till they reached Luke's room.
They knocked and he called out, "Just a minute!" They heard doors slamming and then Luke opened the door, his hair sticking up from the static of his navy blue shirt, which he was finishing pulling down, exposing his well toned 6-pack. He had a pair of blue and grey basketball shorts on and some navy blue Nike's, that were still unlaced.
Richard looked at him sternly, "How long ago did you get up, Luke?"
Luke blushed and brushed a hand through his shaggy dirty blonde hair, combing down the static. "Umm, when you knocked on the door," he said hesitantly. Anthony started laughing, not just a giggle but one of those full on, deep belly laughs, and walked over to Luke, hooking his arm around Luke's shoulders.
He leaned over and whispered, but loud enough that both Richard and Maggie could overhear, "You know what, Luke? I used to do the same thing. What I do now is I have Maggie call me when he comes to her room, and then I get ready. You know he always goes in the same order. I'll call you next time, man." Luke smiles up at him and grabs his phone and water, leaving with Anthony's arm still hooked around his neck, joining in on the laughter. They walk through another long hall of empty rooms, their laughter slowly dying down, until they get to Sarah's room. Richard knocks and she tells him to come in. Sarah looks surprised when she sees the whole gang there, but then she smiles. She's wearing a light blue short shirt, not as short as a crop top but it only reaches her waist. She has black sports leggings on, black Nike's, and her hair's pulled back into two french braids. She's holding her phone and water already and walks over to the group. She walks past Luke and Richard sees their hands brush, and then both of their faces turn bright red, and Sarah quickly walks faster over to where Maggie was standing and they started chatting. Anthony walked over and laced his fingers into Maggie's and joined in.
