Harry retired to his bed after patrolling, it had been a long night. Being Head Boy wasn't quite as he had thought it was but he didn't mind. He crashed onto the couch and stared into the flames, reflecting upon all that which had happened. It wasn't the firt time and, alas, it will not be the last.

He and Ginny- he tried to make it work again, find that spark but he felt nothing anymore. The war had changed him and he told Ginny, she was accepted the truth quite easily and told though she loved her time with him, she didn't love him as much as she did. Harry agreed that they should just stay like bother and sister, they way it had always been. Some things should always stay the same and this was an example.

Hermione walked in and sat on the armchair, she picked up her version of Hogwarts: A History and started reading. She took in the moments, ever since the war had ended and she came back to Hogwarts, she treasured every moment of it. Every moment that wasn't camping, every moment that wasn't fighting, every moment that wasn't spent thinking about the horcuxes or the hallows or who would die or Dumbledore or anything else. To her, every moment was relief of the trauma of the war.

After a while, she got up and went to the toilet. She stepped in and locked the door. She looked at herself in the mirror and stared as the tears flowed from her eyes but she did nothing to stop it. To think that she could have loved Ron when he didn't love her back. Recently, she haf grown suspicious that Ron had stopped loving her when he began to distance himself from her, making excuses to go do something or saying he had work to finish. And her worst fears had come to life when after patrol tonight, Ron pulled her aside to tell her that he wanted to break up. She was in a state of shock and just nodded solemnly before running off.

She had not comprehended the situation when she arrived at the Head student's common room even though she had expected it. It was only now when the notion finally sunk in. We're done.

Harry looked up as Hermione left to the toilet. He was confused as Hermione always goes to bed who-knows how many hours after he goes to sleep. He brushed it off as he went to grab his Firebolt. He was twidling with the twigs when he heard a sob come in from the toilet, he walked up and leaned his shoulder against the door. "Hermione? What happened? Hermione," Harry paused, wary of what might happen. "Is this about Ron?" He heard Hermione immediately stop crying. "Don't think I haven't noticed what's happening between you two. Come on, tell me what happened. Come out... please?" He heard the door creak open as Hermione stepped outside.

Harry, Ron and Hermione stepped off of the train and onto Platform 9¾.
"Promise me you'll visit us, alright. You know Mum will personally murder me for apparantly not tellling you then hunt you down and have your guts for garters."

They all laughed at Ron's comment, "You can be sure on that," said Harry. "I do not want to be on Mrs. Weasley's bad side. Ever.

"You better not," said Hermione. "Remember that last person who got on her bad side? Bellatrix."

There was a silence as they all shuddered at the thought of Mrs. Weasley embracing her Prewitt side. Especially Harry who had witnessed the death of the Death Eater.
