It's Been Four Years Adrien - An Adrienette Story

Chapter One

Adrien's POV

*Beep Beep* *Beep Beep*
"Adrien time to wake up be downstairs in twenty minutes for breakfeast." Nathalie says then leaves so I can start getting ready for my first day of Senior year. I cant believe I have been going to public school for almost four years now. I remember just a little less than four years ago I thought my father would never let me out of the house. Ever since mom died he has been even more protective over me.

I took a shower,brushed my teeth, got dressed and went downstairs for breakfeast. For once my father was actually going to eat breakfeast with me. I was shocked. He said he wanted to savor these moments with me. He knows he can't keep me in this house forever. After my very suprising breakfeast with my dad I hop in the car and head to school. Even though I am perfectly capable of walking or driving myself my father insits Gorilla drives me. Some things never change.

I arive at school to see Alya and Nino sitting outside talking.

"Hey guys" I say to the couple. "Wassup dude!" "Hey Adrien" the two greet me. "Where is Marientte?" I ask already knowing she was probably running late..like always.

"She is running late of course" Alya says laughing knowing that was so tipical of the bluenette. Suddenly we see a girl with pignails running towards us. Marientte.

"Hey..guys...im...not...late" Marientte says trying to catch her breath after running from across the street to the school. "Hey girl running late like always" Alya teases her best friend while laughing. "Haha yea yea guys but I am going to be better this year about being early." Marientte said with full confidence.

"You said that last year dude" Nino said "And the year before that" I added on. Marientte just stares at us over this conversation.

"Uh dudes we should head to class." Nino says We all head to class and sit in our normal seats in Ms.Bustier's class.

I had a feeling this school year was going to be the best one yet.

Marientte's POV

After all my friends made fun of me being late all the time we all headed to class and took our normal seats. Nino and Adrien started talking about some video game or something. Alya turns to me and says "So girl this is the year your going to tell Adrien how you feel I can feel it!" I look at her like she has lost her mind.

"What Alya?! No way!" I say "Marientte you have like this guy for a bazillon years and you have to tell him eventually. It is senior year we are all going to go our seperate ways. You can't go the rest of your life wondering what if." I knew Alya was right I had to tell him. I had put off telling him for so long. Maybe she was right this year is the year. Its my year. After all its been almost four years.

--- Time Skip To Dismisal ---

Adrien's POV

I wave bye to my friends as I get into my car and ride home. Nathalie was sitting beside me in the car. "How was your first day back at school Adrien?" Ever since my mom died Nathalie has been like a mother figure for me. She checks me,asks about my day and gives me advice she's always there for me. "It was great Nathalie I have all my friends with me and-" "Marientte too?" Nathalie says cutting me off. "Um yes Nathalie..why?" I ask very confused. Why does Nathalie care about Marientte. I will say Marientte and I have gotten very close over these last few years. We always find creative ways to play video games,to hang out or something when ever my father wont let me out. She is one my best friends. "I was just asking I know how close you guys are." Nathalie says with a smirk on her face. "Something funny Nathalie?" "Well Adrien you know Marientte has a crush on you..right?" Nathalie says leaving me frozen. Marientte like me?! No there's no way. "Nathalie your pulling my leg here right?" I say as we pull into our driveway. Nathalie gets out and so do I and right as I am about to ask her again she says "Adrien you need to get ready you have a photo shoot in twenty minutes. I just go to my room to change and get ready.

Marientte liking me? Nathalie has to be just joking right?

Marientte's POV

The girls and I were all at Juleka's boat house dicussing how am I suppose to tell Adrien how I feel.

The girls all start spilling out ideas of ways to tell him. Then Mylene said something that made perfect sense. "Marientte why do we need a big plan why can't you just tell him" "Ha Mylene have you met Marientte?!" Alya says laughing a little. Then I spoke up and said "Maybe Mylene is right girls maybe I should just straight up tell him." The girls all go silent for a moment. Then they all burst out in uncontrollable laughter. I just walk away.

I walked outside staring out and Luka says "Marientte?" I jump scared not expecting that. "Oh hi Luka."
"Are you okay?" Luka asks very concered. "Yea it's just...I think it's time I tell Adrien how I feel but-" "But your scared he wont feel the same..yea I know how you feel" Luka finishes my sentence and seemed sadder than before. "Yea" we both sit there in silence until Luka speaks up "Marientte I told you how I felt. I knew you might not feel the same way but at the end of the day you know how I feel and I don't have to live my life wondering what if. If Adrien doesn't feel the same it will be okay. I'll be here for you and so will your other friends. You can't live your life in fear or you'll miss out on all the fun. Adrien would be crazy not to like you Marientte. You can do it. Mari I believe in you." Luka says and I give him a hug and say "Thank you Luka your right tomorrow...Adrien Agreste will know how I feel." I say with full confidence.
