It's Been Four Years Adrien - An Adrienette Story

Chapter Two

Marientte's POV

"Today is the day Alya." I say to my best friend as we walk to the front of the school together. "Great Marinette, Ive only been waiting for you to say that for like four years now...so how ya gonna do it?"

I stayed up all night coming up with this plan. "First I am going to wait until free period" Alya and Nino both have class then so they will not be a distraction. "Then I am going to ask to talk with him. Sit him down just say Adrien I like you like a lot...THEN WE WILL GET MARRIED AND HAVE THREE KIDS A CAT A HAMSTER LIVE ON AN ISLAND AND-" "Woah woah woah slow down girl."

Alya was right I might have went a bit howeverboard..."Girl I love you but I do not know if you can go threw with this plan without rabbling or being scared or getting all blah blah balh bluh ba." "Alya you and I both know I have gotten so much better at talking to Adrien now." Which is true, we hang out all the time as a group and alone all the time..over time it is just natural talking to him. However I do not know if talking about my feelings for him will come out natural.

"Well girl I wish you the best of luck and no matter what happens I love you" Alya says as the bell rings. "Thank Alya your the best" We walk into homeroom and I see Adrien. This is it Marientte. Come fourth period Adrien Argeste will know your true feelings.

--- Time Skip To Fourth Period ---

Marientte's POV

Alright Marientte girl you got this just walk over to him and ask him to talk. I look over at Adrien reading some book on a bench by himself. I get up and walk over.

Adrien's POV

It is my free period and I look like I am reading but really I am thinking about what Nathalie said about Marientte liking me. I mean come on Marientte? She is just a friend. She is just a best friend. I could never even imagine Marientte liking me.

I lose my train of thought as I see someone walking towards me. Marientte.

"Heyyy Adrien" Marientte says with a smile she seems nervous. "Hi Mari"

Marientte's POV

I sit next to Adrien and I just am hoping he does not reject me or think that I am weird. "Adrien there is something I have been meaning to talk about with you for awhile." He looks at me concerned with his goregous green eyes. "Oh okay Marientte what is it" I take a deep breath and say "Adrien I Li-" "ADRIKINS!!" I get cut off my the yelling of none other than Chloe Bourgeois.

"Oh Adrikins hiiii I just missed you so much" I honestly want to get mad at Chloe for interupting a huge moment for me but I can not be mad at her. Chloe has actually changed from how she was before. She actaully is nice now and her and I are actually friends. She does still call Adrien Adrikins and can be a pain sometimes but for the most part she actually is a good friend.

Chloe just got back from speeding her whole summer in New York with her mom. She must of gotten back yesterday since she did come to school the first day of school.

"Hi Marientte I missed you too!!" Chloe says with a smile. "I missed you too Chloe" and then **RING RING** the bell rang. Dang it. I was so ready I thought. Maybe Chloe interupting us was not such a bad thing after all. Maybe she saved me from total embarrsment.

-- Time Skip to 9:30pm --

Marienette's POV

"Alya I know I know I should come up with a better idea" I am on the phone with a very disappointed Alya she was so hoping I would finally tell him. "Girl you can not do it at school whos to say someone new will not reuin it tomorrow or the next day?" Alya is right. "Yea Alya your right but I don't know what to do now" I say sad until Alya says "I know girl you should invite over to your house this weekend. You guys can play video games and then when the time is right tell him." That sounds so simple. "Alya one no two problems. My parents are so nosiy they would never give us five seconds alone. And Second Adrien's dad probably will not let him come." Yes Adrien's dad has let him come over a few times but most of the time it's a no. "Girl no more excuses even if his dad says no at least you made an effort we can just come up with a new idea." Alya was right. "Okay Alya i'll do it!"

Alya and I hang up and I think of a way to ask his dad..this is gonna be hard.

-- Time Skip to Friday --

It is Friday and I got up extra early so I can go to Adrien's house. I know Adrien has morning fencing practice every Friday morning from 5:30-6:30. After I see his car pull out the Agreste driveway I ring the doorbell.

The camera comes out Nathalie says "Hi Marientte Adrien just left for fencing." "Oh yes I know..I came to speak with Adrien's father would he be avaliable by any chance?" "Of course Marientte." Nathalie then opens the gates to the Agreste manchine and greets me at the front door.

"Mr Agreste is waiting for you in his office." She leads me that way. I walk into his office and Nathalie shuts the doors behind me.

"Hi Marientte it is good to see you again." "Good to see you too Mr. Agreste."

I stand their frozen not knowing what to say next until Mr.Agreste says "What brings you by?" I start to turn pale then I say "I was wondering if maybe if Adrien was not busy tomorrow he could maybe come over to my house and we can play video games and my parents would feed him and I promise he will be home by whatever time you say." I stand there frozen again. Please say something. Anything. We stand there in silence for what felt like forever which was only like maybe a minute.

"Alright Marientte I will clear Adrien's schedule for tomorrow he will arrive at your home at 11am and is to be back here at 7:30pm. Understood?" I stand there still frozen still can not process what was just said. Then I finally speak. "Yes of course Mr.Agreste thank you so much" "Your welcome Marientte." He smiles and Nathalie comes in and leads me out.

I run of out the machine dancing and singing. Tomorrow. Satuary. Adrien Agreste will know how I feel!

No ones POV

Nathalie walks back into Gabriel's office. "Sir why did you allow that?" Nathalie says confused and suprised. "Nathalie those two remind me of Emilie and I when we were their age. I just want my son to be happy. Even though he does not see it yet that girl is his forever." "I couldn't agree more with you sir." Nathalie walks out and Gabriel goes back to designing.

Hi ya'll sorry it has been like three months since I updated. I honestly forgot about this story. I am thinking about starting a hey arnold fan fic. Maybe I dont know lol. Anyways see yall in the next chapter!!
