It's Been Four Years Adrien - An Adrienette Story

Chapter Four

Adrien's POV

Marientte is in love with me. It all makes sense now. Why she was always so shy and awkward around me. Why she always blushed around me. Why she has these pictures of me all around her room. It all makes sense. What do I do?

"Mari..I-" Before I could finish my sentence Marientte got up and ran out of her room and out of her home to out the bakery doors.

"MARIENTTE WAIT!" I yelled in panic.

Marientte's POV

I told Adrien I loved him. He got quite. I knew this would be a mistake. I didn't know what else to do but run. I didn't know where I was going but I was sure getting the hell out of there. I hear him call my name but I keep running. I run and run until I am out of breath. I turn around and see Adrien is no where in sight. I look at my phone, I had been running for twenty minutes. He must of given up.

I look at my surroundings and see i'm at Nino's house. Maybe he's home. He's not Alya but over the years he and I have become like brother and sister. Maybe he'll know what I should do.

Adrien's POV

I run after Marientte for what felt like forever. I lost her. I had no idea where she went. If she was ok. I just hope she isn't mad at me.

I decide to just go home and hope she'll be okay. I will call her tonight, but for now i'll give her some space. With this thought, I walk home.

Marientte's POV

I knock on the door of Nino's house. He answers.

"Heyy dudette wassup." Nino says opening the door greating me into his home. "I um well hey Nino can we talk?"

"Sure Mari whats wrong?" Nino says looking at his friend worried. "I just did something stupid.." I say looking at the ground embarrassed of myself. "Did you kill someone?!" Nino says worried and confused. "WHAT? NO! Of course not Nino don't be ridiculous!" "Hehe sorry Mari..then what did you do?"

I look at the ground for a few more moments and then look up at Nino, "I told Adrien I was in love with him." Nino already knew I liked Adrien. Alya told him our freshmen year of high school. He always told me to shoot my shot but I never did..until today.

"Did he reject you?" Nino says still looking worried. "Well no not exactly..I never gave him a chance to speak right when I told him we both got quiet and he was about to speak but I ran away." "So was the stupid part you telling him or you running away?" "Both. It was stupid of me to think Adrien would ever feel the same. He probably doesn't even wanna be friends anymore..." I trail off thinking the worst until Nino speaks up "Mari listen, Adrien is a great dude..I honestly truly believe well not even believe I KNOW for a FACT that he would never stop being your friend unless you did something horrible. You told him how you felt. Is that really so bad? You never know maybe he likes you too. Maybe instead of running from fear of rejection you should look fear in the face and not care and take the risk. Hear what Adrien has to say about his feelings towards you. Maybe Mari just maybe Adrien Agreste likes you too."

We sit in silence for a moment or two until I finally say "Thanks Nino your right first thing tomorrow imma talk to Adrien. Thanks for talking to me Nino. Your the best."

"Mari your welcome and just know if Adrien says he doesn't like you he's crazy..between you and I Adrien likes you..he just doesn't know it yet."

We hug and I head home.

-- Time Skip To 9:00pm --

I was sitting at my desk doing some sewing when my phone rings. It's Adrien.

Should I answer? I dont know if i'm ready to talk to him about this yet. Oh no what am I going to do!! UGH! Then the phone stops ringing. I guess I took to long to answer.

Then he calls again. I don't answer. Then I get a text message from him.

                               Adriennnnnn

Mari can we talk?
                                          uh. I'm kinda busy atm..later? tmr?
I mean..we can but I
wont be able to sleep
tonight if we
don't...haha lol.
                                        Okay..we can just give me ten minutes.

A/N
Heyyy y'all I know this chapter wasn't much but I wanted to leave it on a cliffhanger and I really wanted to write today. Honestly might do another Chapter. Anyways I hope all ym fellow American readers had a great Thanksgiving and I can not believe tomorrow is December 1st omggg. Anyways see y'all in the next chapter love you all :))))
