It's Been Four Years Adrien - An Adrienette Story

Chapter Three

Adrien's POV

This past week has been so confusing. I have Nathalie telling me Marinette likes me and Marinette never told me what the important thing she had to tell me was. Everytime I try to ask Nathalie about the Marientte thing she just ignores me or brings something else up. I try to ask Marinette what she was gonna tell me but we either get interuptted or when I text her she just changes the subject and says it's not important.

"Adrien" My father walks into my room pulling me away from my thoughts. "Hi father"

"Adrien your freind Marinette came by this morning." "Marinette?!" I say confused and curious. "Yes, she asked if you could come over tomorrow. I told her you could. From 11am-7:30pm. No later understood?" I sit there puzzled confused. "But Father what about my fencing private and photo shoot and-" "I had Nathalie cancel it all." I sit there again confused why would my father do that? "Oh thank you so much father!" I run up to my father and hug him he hugs back "Your welcome Adrien." He walks out.

This is awesome I get to hang out with Marinette tomorrow! Yes! I can finally figure out what she was gonna tell me! I shower,brush my teeth and head to bed I can not wait to see Marinette tomorrow!!

-- Time Skip To 10am The Next Day --

Marinette's POV

no no no I woke up late now I only have an hour to shower,brush my teeth,eat and get dressed before Adrien gets here!!! I rush to do everything and then I hear a knock on the door. It's Adrien.

"Marientte Adrien's here!!" My mom yells from the front door to my room,"Coming!!" I said back. "Hi A-A-Adrien." Weird. I don't usually stammer around Adrien anymore. Eh nothing serious I just need to calm down. We have hung out many times alone. This should be fiiine.

"Hey Marientte!" Adrien says enthusiastically. We head up to my room. I sit at my desk he sits on my chaise lounge. We sit in silence.

Until he finally speaks. "Soo these are some cool desgins." I snap out of my little daze I was in. "Huh what?!" "Haha your desgins Mari these on your wall they're very good. If you like I could model them for you once they're finished." "Oh hehe thanks Adrien."

We decide to play some video games but the whole time I kept thinking 'How am I going to tell him I like him like ugh why does this have to be so hard'.

Adrien's POV

This is so fun hanging with Marientte. She really is a good friend. I need to ask her about what she was gonna tell me. I don't know how thought.

Marientte's POV

I have to say something today or never. I choose today. I pause our game and put my controller down and look at Adrien.

"Mari everything okay?" Adrien says when he sees the game paused and his blue haired friend looking sad. "Adrien there's something really important I need to tell you.." I trail off almost not knowing what to say next until i find my words again. "The other day when I was trying to tell you something it was uh this thing that I should of told you a long time ago. I should of told you four years ago." "FOUR YEARS AGO?!" Adrien exclaims loudly shocked and very curious to know what she has not told him for four whole years. "Adrien I hope we stay best friends and you don't hate me or think less of me because of this and-" Adrien cuts me off saying "I would never hate you or stop being your friend. Marientte your a very good friend to me I can not even imagine you saying or doing something wrong to me." I sit there shocked. He is so sweet and caring. He is making me love him even more.

"Adrien I can't keep beating around the bush. The thing is I lo-" "Pie?" My Papa and Mama come in my room interupting me with pie!

"MAMA PAPA!" "Sorry sweetie" They both giggle and leave. Ugh maybe it just isn't meant to be. I get intrupted everytime.

I look down at the floor and start to cry. "No no Mari whats wrong don't cry." Adrien rolls my chair over to him and puts his arm around me and lays my head on his shoulder.

"I am just so tired of lying of not being able to tell you that-that- that I love you Adrien." I say it. I say it before I even realize what I have said.

Adrien's POV

Marientte loves me. It all makes sense now.
