Chapter 3: Sleepover

A/n Ok so this is starting at the night of the sleepover. And the practice just ended and the coach is talking.

"Alright good practice today girls. Have fun tonight but not too much fun. Also thank you Azaela for hosting tonight" "it's not a big deal" I spoke kindly. The coach just smiled and walked away. But not before yelling "JUST BECAUSE THERES NO PRACTICE THIS WEEKEND DOESNT MEAN YOU SHOULDNT PRACTICE ON YOUR YOUR OWN". We all laughed. "Ok guys I know I don't know all of y'all that well but I hope we will have fun this weekend. Also everyone that's driving got the address right?" They all nodded before getting into there selective groups and driving away. During this week I've gotten before close to cammy Liz and livi. I haven't really had a chance to speak to the rest or even learn their names. That'll change tonight though. I chuckled before heading to Liz's car. We decided on Liz driving seeing as I can't and livi and cammy are scary drivers. We got into the car and started jamming out. Soon we arrived. They whistled. Cammy chuckled before stating "I thought it wasn't that big" mockingly. I just laughed but to me it really wasn't that big and they knew that. "Oh yea my dad wants you to come over for dinner next week to thank you for letting me stay with you while he's on his business trip and while we're in japan." Liz spoke out sheepishly. Liz lived with her dad who was ceo of a huge company. Unfortunately because of this he had to go on a lot of business trips leaving her alone. This one was particularly long so the week before japan she would be staying with us. "Sure I'll make sure to come" I said reassuringly. "Wahhhhhh no fair I want to see your house" Liz spike excitingly. "Me too me tooooo" cammy stated. I just chuckled. "Ok when we get back from japan we can have a sleepover at mine one day". "Ok !" They all 3 agreed. "Ok let's head in" I stated while walking toward the house. The others arrived soon after us. "Okkkk I know we don't all know each other's names or anything that well so let's do that and then play a question game." Cammy stated loudly while we were finishing up eating dinner. Everyone just nodded in agreement. We then sat and a circle awkwardly. " ok I'll go first"Liz stayed calmly. "I'm Liz and I'm starting middle blocker."Next was me "I'm azaela and I'm starting setter." Next was cammy "oh I'm Cameron I'm libero but everyone calls me cammy also we've decided azaleas volleyball nickname will be baby since she's 14 hehe" I blushed some chuckled while some stifled laughter. Next was livi" I'm livi I'm the ace." A pretty girl that was about lizs height was next. "I'm Jayden but most call me Jay. I'm also a starting middle blocker." (Ok I forgot what the other 2 positions are called but I think it's some type of spiker so imma go with wing spiker also google will not load so sorry) next up was a pretty girl with white hair and an aloof vibe. " I'm sienna for some reason people call me ice. I'm a wing spiker." We all chuckled. Next was another really tall girl. "I'm Maya I'm also a wing spiker." She smiled brightly. Oh so I guess that's all the starters. That just leaves the subs. A girl with pitch black hair was next. "I'm raven I play every position but setter. All the others are the same so you better not get hurt baby." She chuckled lightly. Well shit. I thought there were other setters. "Don't worry baby I can set too." Cammy spoke up. I just had a great idea"sorry to interrupt the introductions but I just had a great idea. Cammy if I can't get to the ball to set it or if we had a play where I needed to spike for some weird reason. Then if you jump from behind the line you can still set it." Learned that from haikyuu bitches. All the girls stared in shock. "OH MY GOD BABY THATS SUCJ A GREAT IDEA" all the other girls nodded in approval. "Let's y'all coach our idea and work on it some at practice" I spoke calmly. She just smiled. Ok back to the introductions there's still 4 girls left. "Ok I guess I'll continue, I'm dillan. I smiled kindly "ok I guess I'm next, I'm ellie." "I'm jacey but please call me Jace." "I'm chloe" "Alright now that introductions are over let's play the question game "Cameron spoke loudly"alright I'll go first, do yall have a boyfriend?"
Liz: nope not yet
Livi: yea he plays basketball at my school
Cammy: nah not interested yet.
Me: I haven't really talked to any boys.
Raven: yes
Ice: no
Maya: I have a girlfriend named Jess :)
Jay: no
Dillan: yes he plays volleyball for the 16 and under boys team.
Chloe: yea his names Cameron:)
Ellie: no
Jace: no
"Ok next question what's y'all a sexual orientation" raven asked

This continued for a while before we finally decided to get some sleep.

Time skip to the week before we leave for Japan. Liz has just arrived. "Hello Elizabeth I am Kai Kurai Azaelas elder brother. I hope you will have a nice stay I will be on my way now as I have some business to attend to." Liz looked shocked at the introduction. My parents just chuckled. My mom looked at Liz kindly. "Sorry for his weird introduction you might not notice but he's quite shy. Anyway my name is Ahmya but most people in America call me Ama. Anyway I also must leave now." "Oh I need to leave too. I'll give my introduction before I go though. I am Akemi Kurai Azaelas father. Please treat her kindly." Then they left. I chuckled and motioned for my bodyguard to take Lizs bag to my room. I then motioned for Liz to follow. Once we got in the room the bodyguard left and went to wherever they hide. "Wow" was all Liz managed to muster. "I know" I stated. "It's way too much but I'm happy if my parents Are happy." We both chuckled in agreement. " we should sleep we have morning practice tomorrow." I spoke softly.

Time skip at the airport about to head to japan. Coach is once again speaking.

"Ok everyone board the plane you are on. The ones staying with baby head with her. The rest staying on their own come with me." Livi, Liz, cammy, ice, and raven headed with me. Us 6 have actually become really close. It's a good friend group because we can split in pairs. Me and Liz, cammy and livi, and ice and raven being the main ones. Although sometimes me and ice seem the closest. We boarded the private plane my parents had insisted on booking. "I call sitting with baby" ice stared I chuckled. "You only want to sit with her bc you know she will be quiet the whole time." Raven stated. Ice looked at her like she was stupid. "Obviously" the rest of us just chuckled and got to our seats.

Time skip they landed and are now at the house

Message from coach: get a good sleep and be at the gym at exactly 9 am. Make sure to eat breakfast before. I hope everyone will make friends here. Also if y'all have flings please keep it private and not at the gym.

I chuckled. Coach is pretty cool seeing as she's only 21. If you're wondering why it's because she got hurt playing at nationals last year but didn't want to take a complete off year so decided to coach us before going back next year.

A/n: ok y'all I'm so sorry I promise I'm getting to the haikyuu part but for the story to make sense I have to tell this but I promise I'm almost there. Also I'm not exactly sure how I want to go with the story so sorry if it takes a while.
