I have decided, today going to reveal my real feelings to her. Hindi ko na kaya pang pigilan ito. Kung hindi ko pa ito sasabihn siguradong mababaliw na ako kaka-isip. And I might lose the chance, malay mo gusto rin ako hahaha pero Malabo eh, anlabo talaga.
 
I was busy reading a book when I heard some footsteps getting louder and louder. I looked around and saw mave.

“oh hi mave” I greeted her with this smile on my face.

“hey Jake” she stated with this soft voice of her, together with that dazzling eyes that she had. I might fall to hard. Mali! I fell too hard for her, Malala na to, kainis naman oh.

I can’t help but to stare at her angelic face. Ang sarap pagmasdan. Mukhang malulunod na ako sa saya dito eh, I can’t take my eyes of her

“what are you reading?” tanong nito habang palipat-lipat ang tingin niya sa libro at sakin

“uhm Chronicles of demigods” I stated while showing her the book

“that’s nice, ang hilig mo sa mga ganyang novel, di ka ba nagsasawa?” she asked out of curiosity. I smiled at her genuinely

“you know, reading books doesn’t only give you knowledge but also give you another dimensions of worlds. It makes you imagine things that are beyond the minds of the youths. Loving someone is like reading books.” Bigla kong nasabi sakanya, na ikinagulat ko dahil bigla kong nasangkot yung tungkol sa pagmamahal

“ha? How come reading books is like loving a person? Sinasangkot mo a naman ang love. Sige nga, tell me how did reading and loving are the same?” tanong nito sakin tsaka umupo sa tabi ko sa may bench at sa ialalim ng isang puno.

Ito naman ang dahilan kung bakit kinabahan ako bigla, sa totoo niyan di ko alam kung bat ko yun nasabi. Maybe because I was carried away?

“listen closely mave, those people who are bibliophiles or the ones who love books, cherish every part and every inch of the book even its covers. Ayaw nila itong masira ni magkaroon ng kahit isang scratch lang. they were too possessive with it; they will do everything to protect it. In reading books, you can’t skip any part of it and read the other part. You can’t continue the story if one page is missing, dahil siyempre you will never understand the flow of the story. Ganun din ang love, loving a person means doing everything, they’ll protect and cherish the one person they love. And upon understanding a person, you need to learn everything about him or her. You can’t skip any part of that person’s life, nor lose any of its chapter, dahil paniguradong hindi mo siya maiintindihan. But of course books are not always perfect. There are loopholes and errors you will encounter, just like a person. There are flaws and unwanted things. But a bibliophile will still continue to read it. A person who is loving someone will continue loving and will accept that person they love completely” I smiled at her after stating my speech

She looked at me with full of amazement

“you always amaze me jakey! Ang lalim mo magsalita ah. Kakainggit naman! Btw. I have to tell you something.” tugon nito na ikinaayos ng pag-upo ko sa bench. I let out a deep breath.

“me too, I have something to tell you mave” I told her. Okay, this is it! Fighting

“ok, you first” sabat naman nito na siyang ikinagulat ko, takte ako pa pina-una

“mauna kana, ladies first.” Tugon ko naman

“ganto, sabay nalang tayo” agad akong napatango sa sinabi niya, at kasabay nito ang pagbilis ng tibok ng puso ko

Kinakabahan na ako. “okay, in 1,2,3” bilang nito

“I like you mave/ I’m going to states” sabay naming tugon na ikinagulat ko dahil sa nalaman ko.

She’s going to states? Why?
“y-you like me?” she aksed me and I nodded

“and you’re leaving me? Why?” I suddenly felt sadness. Kung kelan umamin ako tska naman siya aalis, ano ba naman to. Pinaglalaruan ba ako ng tadhna?

“andun yung company family ko, we need to go there” tugon nito at tila napansin ko rin ang paglungkot ng boses niya

“and you said you like me right? Why and how?”
I nodded

“I don’t know, I just felt it. I just woke up in the morning and fell for you. I just realized that I liked you for a long time at di ko yun maamin sa sarili ko hanggang sa nagpagtantong nahulog na talaga ako sayo”

Bigla sumilay ang isang mapaglarong ngiti sa mukha niya na siyang ikinagulat ko “may gusto ka pala sakin jake ah, ang torpe mo naman” asar nito sakin sabay tawa dahilan kung bakit sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. Hindi nakakatuwa period.

“eh kasi naman, baka layuan moko sa oras na malaman mo” palusot ko sakanya

“sus! Why should I leave Sabihin mo torpe kalang huy!!” tawa pa nito

“wow ah! Di pala lalayuan ah” I said mischievously tska ito inosenteng tumango “eh kasasabi mo lang na pupunta kana sa states” sabat ko naman

“matagal pa yon, sinabi ko lang para advance at para narin makapaghanda ka at di mabigla” sagot naman nito na dahilan ng pagliwana ng awra ko

“talaga? So pwede kitang ligawan?” dahil sa tuwa ko bigla ko nalang yan nasabi

“bilis mo namn jake HAHAH! Ok, you can court me” after letting out those words my eyes suddenly widened because of happiness. Hindi ako makapaniwala na pumayag siya.

“really? Thankyou thankyou mave! I’ll do my very best para mapasagot kita.

And that day, became the best day I’ve had. And I will make sure and will do everything to make her mine and we will live a happy ever after. I guess. but things got crumbled up
