Chapter 8

Now after taking a huge break (lol) I decided that after reading a whole bunch of other wattpad stories that I would try and stop the author’s notes cause THEY BE ANNOYING! Anywho I think authors notes should only be for important things ok. If there is something I want to share with you guys then it will probably be very short or on my page ok so lets just have a quick flash back to the last chapter

Someone coughed behind us. Oh my god…

“Sorry I hope I wasn’t interrupting anything.”

Josie’s POV

I spun around to see who it was. It was a girl wit very badly dyed hair, brown eyes but yet still very pretty. I remember her. Her name is ash bear. She is a YouTuber just like Seamus. I remember that they were going out but for some reason my heart was dropping like there was something it knew that my head didn’t. I looked up to Seamus and I saw him just staring at her. Ashh turned around really fast before running out.

“Wait! Ashh! I’m sorry!” Seamus yelled before running out after her. What was he sorry for? I just stood there for a few minutes just trying to understand what happened.

“Uh Josie, what was that about?’ asked Nina who had just walked in.

“No freakin’ idea.” I said.

I wanted to figure out what happened so on the ride home Nina and I were talking through it. Then it finally hit me. Seamus had been dating Asher but I never heard that he broke up with her.

I told Nina when we reached the door to our hotel and she just grabbed the phone and dialed Seamus’ number. I could tell that she didn’t want me to listen so she ran into the bathroom and shut the door. I wasn’t going to let that stop me so I pressed my ear up against the door. I only heard a lot of yelling until I heard Nina say: “Forgot? Seamus? You FORGOT that you had a girlfriend? NO! DON’T YOU DARE TRY AND FIX THE SITUATION NOW! YOU MESSED UP BIG TIME IDIOT!” she screamed. “It’ll be different.” She said mimicking what Seamus might’ve said. “SHE IS MY BEST FRIEND OK I AM NOT TAKING THAT CHANCE! WHAT YOU DID TO ASSH COULD EASILY HAPPEN AGAIN!” she said before hanging up and opening the door. Due to my late reaction, as soon as she opened the door I fell into a heap at her feet.

A few hours later…

Nina seemed so angry so she went to go talk to Aleks. I just decided to be a couch potato cause I really didn’t give a damn. I flicked the Plasma TV on and saw that the Notebook was playing. Might as well have an excuse for crying. Five minutes into the movie I heard a knock on the door. Damn Nina. She always forgets her keys.

“Nina seri---“ I said.

Then I screamed.

Then everything went black.

Nina’s POV

My vacation had been pretty awesome until some ass decided to ruin it. Everything was working out perfectly. Josie and I managed to convince our parents to let us go to PAX. Then we met people we have idolized since we were twelve years old. We also managed to show off our singing swag (as Josie and Aleks and Sly put it) and I also managed to find some awesome Universities that could offer an epic experience. Then Seamus decided to ruin by “forgetting” he had a girlfriend. I was even about to tell Josie about the college that had heard us at the singing comp and wanted to give us a scholarship to their brand new state of the art Uni that is starting a new program due to their partnership with YouTube.

I read the outline of the courses that I new Josie and I were doing. I wanted to do music same as Josie. She also wanted to do drama. The outlines were that all assignments were linked to the YouTube channel and the more subscribers the channel had the more likely they were to win an award at the end of the year. There were only a few rules. Rule one: No explicit material. Rule two: The main assessment videos were to be uploaded on the classrooms computers and the last rule is that you are allowed to feature other students on the channel.

I was going to call the University to decline the offer until I thought to myself: Josie needs a distraction and this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I was going to talk to Josie first before I accepted the offer. However, right now I just wanted to talk some more with Aleks.

Aleks’ POV

I was going to miss Nina and Josie. Mostly Nina though. I really wished PAX was longer because Nina was going home. To Australia and I haven’t even kissed her yet. I hate that I didn’t have the courage to tell her how I truly feel. That has to change but I was running out of time.

“So your… Uh… leaving tomorrow.” I said

“Uh yeah uh I don’t know.” Said Nina

“Oh… Wait. What?”

“Josie and I have been offered a scholarship for this new college that is partnered with YouTube. She just has to agree to it first as they want both of us otherwise we lose the scholarship.” She explained. This was a cause for celebration.

“How about we go celebrate this awesome opportunity.” I said. She just giggled and nodded.

We had no plan for what we were going to do but I didn’t really care. As long as we were together anything was fun. We just started walking down the street until we reached the movie theater. Her eyes lit up when I suggested that’s where we should go. We couldn’t decide what movie to watch but then we decided to get tickets to the movie marathon. We paid for our tickets and Nina went to go and get our snacks. After a couple minutes she came back with a huge slushy and a gigantic thing of popcorn and a packet of Twizzlers. I went to go and grab the Twizzlers but she just smacked my hand away.

“Josie loves them and she needs cheering up right now.” She explained. I just grinned and grabbed the slushy. We went into the movie and they were playing Vampires Suck. After Nina saw the title she rushed to go and get a seat and then started acting like a 10 year old and kept jumping up and down in her seat.

“Calm down.” I said to her. The only response I got was her poking her tongue out. I then proceeded to call her a child but I covered it up with a cough. That earned me a smack on my arm.

“Ouch!” I said as I rubbed my arm.

When the movie finished and the next one started Nina seemed to want to leave. I think it was mainly due to the fact that now the Twilight saga movies were playing. “Do you want to go home?” I asked.

“Yeah I think I need to talk to Josie soon but I have to make sure she is alright first.” We got in a taxi and we started heading towards the hotel.

“I had fun Aleks.” Nina said. This is it. I have to tell her.

“Nina, can I uh tell you something?” I asked.

“You don’t have to ask my permission to speak Aleks but ok yeah sure.”

“I L- I uh um.” I cleared my throat to start again. “ Nina, I love you.” I felt so relieved to finally tell her that. To my surprise she didn’t just stand there.

“I love you to Aleks!” She sort of squeaked when she said that. Then I slowly edged my head towards her and our lips connected to form the most amazing kiss I have ever had.

Seamus’ POV

I messed up. Big time. Everything was going perfectly and I think I was falling for Josie but I happened to forget about my girlfriend. She wasn’t even supposed to be here. She was meant to be in her apartment. Wait a second. I grabbed my laptop and I logged onto twitter. When I checked my tweets, a whole bunch of subscribers had sent Ashh and I a link to a tumblr account full of pictures of Josie and I. Together. After a while of looking at the pictures, I began reading the actual tweets. A whole bunch, if not all, were directed towards Ashh saying that I am cheating on her. The last thing I checked before logging off was her twitter page. The last thing she tweeted was “Oh really? I think I may just go check on him. Btw thanks everyone.” That’s why she is here.

I called Ashh because I needed to try and fix things. I told her that I was sorry and that it wasn’t her it was me. That part was really true. It was over. Even if I couldn’t completely mend things with Josie, I could at least make things right. I hung up the call with Ashh. Now it was time to go and apologize to Josie. Whether she wanted to listen to me or not. When I got to her level I heard a scream.

Her scream…
