Chapter Six:

Lucy’s POV:

When I got to Yocomata, I found out that it was a very small village at the edge of Fiore. It didn’t take me long to find the docks and I think I was a little lucky because it looked like one of the fishermen was just about to sail towards the island, so I ran and approached him.

“Excuse me sir.”

“Yes. Who are you?”

“My name is Lucy Heartfilia I am a mage and I am trying to get to that island,” I say, pointing towards Dragonfilia. “I was wondering, since you were about to sail out, if you could take me there. I can pay you if you want.”

“I can take you there but the price will be five hundred jewels!”

“Five hundred!”

I wanted to say no but I can’t. He is the only person here. So I gave him the money and we set off.

“Why do you want to go to that island anyway. People have tried entering before but it’s like there’s a barrier over it or something. Nobody has gotten in.”

“That’s because it is protected.”

“Well I hope you’re not here to harm it. It is a beautiful island.”

“Don’t worry I am not. It belonged to my mother. She passed away years ago and my father only told me about the island recently. My mother cast a spell, to protect it, before she died.”

“So how can you get in?”

“It’s complicated.” I said just as we arrived. “Thank you so much for bringing me here, it means a lot to me. Goodbye.”

With that I get out of the boat with my shoes of as I have to walk though the water a bit to get in. Good thing I am wearing shorts. When I pass the barrier the landscape suddenly changes to a grassy field with a bit stone tower in the centre. Standing in front of me are four people. Two of them look a little bit like Wendy and Natsu. Natsu... They must be Grandine and Igneel. I’m not sure who the other two are though.

“Hello, I am Justice, the celetial dragon. This is Grandine, the air dragon, Igneel, the fire dragon and Sapphire, the water dragon. Can I just say, you look so much like your mother.”

“Um...hi. Thank you.” I am unsure of what to say next, they know who I am already which is kind of weird but father did say that they would.

“Follow me. I will take you to your room where you can unpack your bags. You will have a week to settle in and get to know everyone,” said Justine and she started to lead the way. I followed her with the three other dragons behind me.

“Hey Grandine, Igneel.”

“Yes Lucy,” they both said at the same time.

“I am good friends with Wendy and Natsu.”

They stopped dead in their tracks.

“How is Wendy, is she eating well, does she have a good home and friends?”

“She is absolutely fine, she definitely eats well her exceed makes sure of that. She is part of the same guild as me and so is Natsu. She has lots of friends and as she is part of Fairy Tail she lives at Fairy Hills with the other girls in the guild.”

I then turn towards Igneel and tell him that Natsu is fine too and how he has a girlfriend and I am his best friend but I turn back to the front and start walking when the tears start to well up in my eyes. I don’t think they noticed. I hope and pray that they didn’t. I rub my eyes and complain about having to wake up early to get here so that they don’t notice that I was rubbing away the tears. We talk and get to know each other better for the rest of the journey which is quite short.

When we get to my room, at the top of the tower, I am exhausted. It was quite big to be honest. I looked around at the storage and in the wardrobe there were lots of cool clothes in it already. I think there is just enough space to put the clothes that I brought with me into it too.

After I had looked around my room, Justice told me to have a little rest or start unpacking all my stuff. She said that she would come back later to call me to dinner and they all left. I decided that I would have plenty of time to unpack later so I went and lay down on the extremely comfortable double bed and fell asleep.
