Maddy's POV
It took him a lot of searching he claims, but Jason finally found a helicopter and willing driver. An old friend of his he says, Oliver, will drive the helicopter.
"Of course I'll drive." Oliver says in a British accent. "Happy to help."
"You're gonna fly us in on Wednesday morning, at around two, yes in the morning and than you're going to get the hell out of there." I say.
"Two in the morning? I can do that." He says. Glad he's fine with the hours.
"Maddy, just got a text from dr jones." Jaz says interrupting as she runs into the discussion room.
"What is it?" Jason finally decides to contribute to the conversation.
"Vira has a huge scar on her right eye stretching from the middle her forehead to the middle of her cheek. Amy's still in hospital from Vira's beating. Amy's getting married on Tuesday-" Jaz explains until is cut her off.
"Wait what? I thought next month they were getting married. Why has it changed?" I ask.
"Amy made that promise to Gary, so that Gary would let the nurses and doctors heal Vira." Jaz explains.
"Vira would be still screaming in pain chained to a wall otherwise. In a prison cell type room." I say realising.
"Basically. Yeah." Jaz says.
"At least she's being taken care of in an infirmary with proper medicine." Jason says.
"Yeah. Amy as well." I mumble.
"If Vira doesn't kill Gary I am." Jason mutters.
"Fine with me." Jaz says.
"Where's-" I begin. Matt walks into the room. "Nevermind."
Matt sits down at the discussion table and joins the rest of us. I wonder where he was and what he was doing.
"Where were you?" I ask.
"In the kitchen eating my sandwich." He says bored.
"Ok. Well. Vira's got a scar going from mod forehead to mod cheek and she's now blind in her right eye. She's being treated and so is Amy. Oh and this is Oliver. He's gonna drive the helicopter." I say and point at Oliver.
"Hello!" Oliver says cheerfully with his British accent. I love his accent.
"Hello." Matt says and yawns.
"Why are you so tired?" I demand.
"Couldn't sleep." Matt mutters and rests his head on his arms on the table.
I can't help but mutter:"Well then."
I'm very sad to say, we are nearing the end of the final book of the To Murder series. This series, was the first one I ever started. It was on hold for a while during the second book while I wrote another series, the Icy Love series, but I returned to it and am very close to finishing it.
