A few minutes past, and they already could hear the villains getting into the car.
Klaus whispered to the girls, trying not to be heard.
Klaus: I just realized something.
Klaus: .. I left sunny in the operation room. I was so worried on getting you two safe that they have her.
Violet: at least we are going with them.
Isa: she must be so scared.
Finally they heard all of the doors close, and the car started moving.
Klaus: where do you think we are going?
Isa: most likely VFD headquarters.
Violet: what does VFD headquarters look like?
Isa: it's huge green building with the insignia on it, the eye on my ankle, and it has many things inside, pool, library, a bar-
Klaus: do you know how far away?
Isa: it's in the Mortmain Mountains. A cold place. But there are disguises in here, and some of my clothes, we could find something to keep us warm.
As the children looked, it was difficult to see everything in the crowded trunk, and also because the sun was setting.
Violet found a jacket, and then another,
Violet: there's a ton of jackets here.
Violet put on the purple one, klaus put on the blue, and isabelle the red.
Isa: now we are color coded and warm. We should try to sleep if we want to pass the time.
Klaus: good idea.

Violet was woken up by isabelle,
Isa: the car stopped. I think we are here.
Isabelle woke up klaus.
Violet: maybe we could make a run for it.
Isabelle opened the trunk and thier eyes closed, the snowy landscape was different from the dark trunk.
Isa: alright, let's go.
They all got out of the trunk and violet and klaus started running, isabelle shut the trunk door and ran after them.

Sunny was indeed frightened, but she could bite, Esmé had sunny on her lap the whole way, the hook handed man was in the back, and olaf had been driving. They stopped the car, they needed to find VFD headquarters and the only way was with a map, and Count Olaf had one, from his.. not so good past with them.
Olaf: I think we'll go this way.
Esmé: we better find the sugarbowl soon or-
Olaf: yes! I know you want the sugarbowl! We will go this way.
They got back into the car, and started for VFD headquarters.
They didn't realize they were going in the wrong direction.
