Tris POV:
C- Hey Tori. This is Tris She's new here.
T- Hey
To- Hey, So we are going to start on a project today. You can work beside Christina since you are new.
T- Thanks.
Christina walk to an easel an points to the one next to her.
T- Thanks.
To- Okay today I want you to sketch the outline of you painting and add light base colours to it. You have to make your drawing themed against bullying and you will have three studies. They do not have to be 3d but should be well layered etc.
A- Ms. Wu, Can we have certain people in our drawing? People from our class.
To- No because it will only hurt others.
T- So basically we have to sketch an imaginary person.
To- Exactly. Any other questions
H- Will all three studies be themed on bullying.
To- No. The second and third will be themed diferently. You will have to push all you ideas into one single piece.
C- Will we be using watercolor or oil paints?
To- I will accept either. You also may do your piece on either canvas, sheets that is and paper. Remember to keep in mind that this project has to be finished by the end of this week.
4- What about football practice I'm missing 4 classes this week.
To- Well then I suggest you hurry up.
I quickly lift a canvas sheet and a pencil and start sketching. I know exactly what I am going to do. I've finished my sketch and the base colours now I just need to add the darker shades.
Ashley walks past me and ever so gracefully tries to tip red oil paint over my work so i stop it making paint go all down her designer top and shoes.
C- Ooh Had a little accident there.
T- O my god. You know oil paint doesn't come off silk right?
To- I think you should go get cleaned up. Get your change of clothes out of your locker you'll be just fine. I'll clean up the paint.
she cleans up the paint and looks at my painting. It's nearly done.
To- Oh I see we may have an artist here. Looks like I've found your match 4.
4- Who? Her.... No way... like I would ever date her.
T- Hannah? That's as good as you can get. That's like rock bottom right there.
H- I don't recall doing anything to you.
T&4- Oh please.
To- That is enough. Tris may I show your painting to the class.
T- Sure. Can I just finish it off first? It'll only take me a minute.
To- Of course.
I quickly finish up. And hand my finished painting to her.
T- There you go.
4- Can't wait to see this.
Everyone laughs.
Tori puts my image on the board everyone looks shocked.
To- This is the work of Tris Peior our new student. She did this in 25 minutes. What stage are your at 4?
4- Actually I have also finished.
He goes and hands her a canvas board smiling.
To- Well yoou 2 I have to admit these are great. I'm going to keep these and out them on display. A* Both of you.
T- Thanks.
4- Dad isn't going to be happy.
To- You can continue painting. Don't worry about a theme we are going to start are next painting next day.
I walk back and start painting. I paint our factions they are like groups. Everyone has to pick one. Everyone knows where they belong except me. I never fitted in. I'm going to make a mew start.
I'm picking dauntless. That's final. I stand up for what I neleove that's brave right?
