*Louis' POV*
-5 months later-

"So, it's my birthday in a couple of weeks..." I said to H over our weekly skype call. "I'm going to be twenty-three"

"Old man," H had said as he chuckled.

"I'm not that old," I remarked.

"So...do you want to hear anymore jokes?" H questioned, eyebrows going up and down.

"No, actually, I have a couple of questions. Umm.. so you know how we live in the exact same part of London?"

H nodded nervously.

I continued,"Then how come we've never seen each other in these past six months. I mean I'm bound to run into you at Tesco or something sooner or later. I don't know I'm kind of just thinking out loud. What do you think?"

"Well, I guess that makes sense. I think it is weird we havent seen each other in the streets or something. Well I have to go now! Bye, Lou!" H hung up the video call.

That was weird, he seemed kind of rushed. These last six months have been weird. I checked the time in the corner of the screen of my computer. My shift for work was in an hour and I had to get ready.

I put on a pair of black skinny jeans and the required navy blue Books-A-Million! t-shirt. I slipped on my black converse and clipped my nametag to my shirt. I put on my leather jacket to protect me from the cold December air, I slipped out of my flat and into London.

It wasn't too cold out and the book store was just under a mile away, so I decided to walk. I mulled over that whole coversation with H. In the past, whenever I would bring up the idea of meeting each other, he would either avoid the topic completely or say a quick response and hang up. It was getting to be quite suspicious, but I needed to get to the bottom of it. No pun intended.

I took a taxi from my flat to the book store. The drive didn't take to long before I had to pay and get out of the car.

I checked the time on my phone, it was about fifteen minutes until I was due in. So, I just hung out at the Starbucks that was a couple of stores down.

I sat down at a small table in the corner after I had ordered my coffee. I placed the cardboard cup down and checked twitter. My followers had boosted immensely since my run-ins with Harry. I had been refreshing google and twitter all day, because today was December 7th. And all directioners know that December 7th was a horrible day.

You see, ever since the band was on the X Factor, there were speculations by people like me with amazing gaydar, that have thought Harry was gay. There was no doubt in my mind that he was, it was kind of like a gay sense that all gay men had. No? Ok.

Anyways, people started assuming things and pairing him up with other male celebrities and I guess that the management was upset over the fact. So, since 2011 on December 7th each year, there have been articles that have surfaced about Harry and Caroline Flack, Taylor Swift, and Kendall Jenner.

It was about one in the afternoon now, and nothing fishy has surfaced yet. It was too early in the day to tell though.

Realizing that it was almost one, I strolled back to the book store and clocked in for my shift, which was until 7 tonight.

"Louis, you have the register tonight," my co-worker, Will, told me as I walked into the store from the back entrance where we clock in.

I nodded to him in response and took my place behind the long counter. There were chairs behind the counter since we never got a ton of customers and it would be unfair to make us stand up for all that time.
