Chapter 2: Anxiety

Tae POV:

Having no parents must suck but being stuck with abusive ones is a whole other story.

I know what people think of me I'm not dumb but it hurts when they act like they know all about me but they don't.

Every day at school it's like I'm a ghost, no one has time to or won't even dare to give me a glance. I can't help having scars that's just how it is in my life. I just want someone there for me someone who supports me.

Well yeah I have 2 friends that will protect me when needed but I just want someone to hold all the time.

Maybe this year I can change.

Today I woke up to the sound of glass shattering. Normal day if you ask me.

I didn't even dare to go downstairs knowing my parents were fighting again for some stupid reason.

I quietly opened the window and slid out, jumping down one story since I lived in a 2 story house.

I had packed all my school supplies the other night so I was already prepared. I was gonna call my friends to come pick me up but that would be impossible since my phone was shattered from the events yesterday.

So that meant I had to walk. Great.

Most houses on this street aren't so bad but it just sucks living so close to school since now you know your surrounded by the kids that hate you.

I wish I could be like that popular group, they just have normal lives, everyone loves them. Must be nice.

I arrive at school and see my 2 friends waiting at the gate looking like bodyguards by the way they are staring at people.

"Hey dude". Namjoon says as he notices I had arrived.

"Hey how was your summer"? I ask.

"Pretty good, had some decent fights over the past couple of weeks". Namjoon states smiling.

"You and your fights, I think sleeping is easier". Yoongi states as he writes more in his notebook.

"Hey Tae is that a new scar"? Namjoon asks delicately touching his cheek.

"Yeah so what"? I state getting a little frustrated.

"Well it just seemed pretty bad compared to scars I've seen in fights".

"I'm fine don't worry just the family you know". I say with sadness in my voice.

"You know you can stay at either of our houses if it gets worse". Namjoon says

"I think it'd only make it worse but thanks anyway. Ok now let's get in school even though I know neither of you are actually gonna do any work". I say smirking.

"Ok that was just all my other years this year I'll try to get enough credits to get into college." Namjoon says.

"Yeah me too". Yoongi says.

They walk towards the school and see the popular group right off the bat standing laughing about something.

"How can they be so happy, I don't get it we're at school". I say as I long to laugh like them.

" They're popular they can get anything". Yoongi says.

"How about we go talk to them" Namjoon suggests.

Both Yoongi and was Tae look at him like he's crazy but he starts walking over there and we're forced to follow.

*In Taes mind*

This is so unlike Namjoon it's weird. He actually wants to talk to 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺. I look at each boy recognizing 2 from some of my classes last year. One looks sorta cute with his little bunny grin. Like a popular guy would date me, as if.

Namjoon then walks up to the little group now all eyes on him.

"Hey dorks". Namjoon says louder then expected.

"Well look who it is this time". Thought you'd be too busy beating kids up to talk to us." Jin says.

"Well at least we aren't obnoxious snobs like you". Yoongi says not even looking up from his notebook.

It goes silent as both just stare at each other Jungkook is the first one to move.

"Come on guys they aren't worth it". He says motioning for them to follow.

"What'd you say little twerp"? Namjoon asks getting mad.

"You guys are just pathetic little boys not something I need to waste my time on". He says.

Even Jungkook himself was surprised he said that to the most popular bullies in the whole school. He just had to play it cool.

" You little—". Before Namjoon can finish he aims his fist in the air aiming it at Jungkook.

Jin quickly blocks it having a strong grip on namjoons wrist.

"Don't and I say DOnt even think of laying one of your filthy hands on my brother." Jin grips it tighter.

Namjoon eventually gets out of it looking annoyed as ever.

"Whatever". He storms off his 2 friends following him but Tae looks back and sees kookie on the verge of tears. He feels bad for him.

"So what happened to the whole rule of don't associate with the popular group". Tae asks.

"I was just so tired of seeing them show off their freedom I just had to do something. And besides he started it." Namjoon says.

"Actually your the one that almost punched him you can control your emotions you just chose not to". Tae says.

"What's gotten into you, you think you can fit in with those things. We never will. Never. the only thing we are good at is being mean and I wanna keep it that way." Namjoon says still mad from the incident.

"God what have you guys become". Tae says as he walks off to his locker leaving his friends behind.

Yoongi sighs. "I don't know about you but I'm gonna go relax on that couch that's calling my name over there." Yoongi says.

"Casual Yoongi just being a lazy shit". Namjoon says.

"Well it's better then listening to you guys that's for sure. Maybe get some sense and I'll acknowledge your existence." Yoongi says casually.

Namjoon has had it he rushes out of the school going to collect his thoughts since his head is all over the place.

A/N: Ok this chapter was a little too mean like I love Namjoon but he's a bully in this so he has to have some mad moments. This story will eventually become a romance like I said it was it just takes a little time. Now time to write the next one. :)
