Love at first sight (Taekook)

Chapter 1: Brotherhood

Jungkook POV:

It had been 2 years since the incident and I still feel uneasy sometimes when Jins driving, uneasy enough to the point where I'll force myself to walk home some days.

I, now a junior would be expected to drive myself but first of all I don't have a license and second I don't want to. Jimin my best friend usually drives me instead.

Today was the first day of junior year and I was almost terrified, not about school just that this was my last year in the same school with my brother. Ever since we were little we were always the close type. Meaning we knew everything about each other. If something was bothering Jin I'd be the first guy he'd go to, even before Hobi his best friend.

I sometimes think I can be a burden when I hang with his friends but it's like Jin can read my mind since he always reassures me I am welcome anywhere.

Both me and Jin live in our childhood house just us now.  (no this isn't some sad parent story either) Our parents love us and care for us a lot but work is just at the top.

Both of them got a request to go to America for some nerdy job. They asked us to come along but Jin wanted to stay meaning I wanted to stay as well. Them being loving parents knew we wouldn't be happy there so they didn't force us to go with them and instead gave us a few hundred bucks and their house for us to use.

That was 2 years ago when I was just starting high school. (Before the incident).

Ok enough talk of me now let's talk about my school.
This school isn't normal but not full of all the weirdos either. It's sorta mixed.

First you have my side of the sorta popular bunch, well mainly Jin since I'm pretty sure everyone has hots for him even the guys. He hasn't told anyone except me though about him being gay. I don't mind it but I personally don't think I'd be gay like him. (hmmm are you sure about that)

Then we have Jimin my best friend whenever I have to go to class and be separated from Jin, Jimin is who I hang out with. He is also gay like Jin but I don't have any feelings he'd steal Jin from me since he's practically drooling for Vernon already.

Vernon is a part of the I guess "dancer group". They aren't like mega softies but you just have to make sure not to gossip about them close enough for them to hear. Vernon mainly hangs out with his 12 friends though (totally not seventeen). Hobi is also sorta the leader of this group since he has a huge obsession with dance.

Speaking of Hobi he is like my second brother. Whenever he enters a room it's like a ray of sunshine is shown down onto him. When anyone even feels remotely bad Hobi will work his magic and you'll be fine the next minute. When he hangs with my brother I don't feel any jealousy since I know he's in good hands and I can trust him.

Ok now the rest of the kids are irrelevant but I guess I'll tell you about them. First theres Namjoon, Who is pretty much only seen in lunch and nowhere else. I don't get how he's passing though when he does no work at all. When I do see him at lunch it's like  any kid who makes eye contact would be humiliated the next second, or beat up depending on his mood.

I'm glad I'm part of the popular bunch since he doesn't dare messing with us for some reason. If he ever hurt Jin though there would be an issue with me and him.

Then theirs Yoongi the only time I really see him he's sleeping on the couches provided for us or writing something in that notebook of his. Don't even think for a second he's nice though. Anyone within a 6 feet radius (cough cough corona) of him is about dead well if your not his 2 friends.

Now Taehyung I don't know that much about. The first time I saw him I thought I'd make another friend in the same grade as me but then when I saw his friends my mind changed.

It's like once he started hanging with them the boy I saw in my classes was a whole new person. He was pretty handsome though but with a personality like his I can never see him the same.

Ok now this is the first day of junior year.

I wake up and let out an annoyed sigh when I feel the warm body beside me has left, and now all I'm left with is a cold bed.

I get up almost tripping on air as I stumble out into the living room/ kitchen.

"Hyungggg". I pout.

"Stop fussing and come eat". He says as he laughs at my pout.

"Fine" I sigh.

"So you fine with picking up Hobi on the way"? He asks.

"Yeah sure can Jimin catch a ride as well". I ask.

"Yeah yeah of course".

They finish eating and get all their school supplies organized Jin gets in the car as Jungkook sits in the back. The first stop is Hobi as they see him waiting outside.

"Hey guyssss". He practically yells before he hops in.

"Nice to see you too". Jin states.

"Hey Jungkookie". He says as he ruffles jungkooks hair.

"Hey Hobi". Jungkook says trying not to laugh at Hobis facial expression.

They then pick up Jimin who being the nice kid he is says thank you to Jin for driving him. The whole ride is full of laughing and drama about people at school as they finally arrive.

Each person steps out one by one as they stare at the place they never wanted to go back to. And if the timing isn't perfect the 3 people they least wanted to see were walking their way with not very welcoming faces.

A/N: Ok I know I need some drama to happen soon but keep in mind this is my first story again so I'm new at this stuff. But next chapter I'll make sure they actually get to talk to each other.
