Love at first sight (Taekook)

Chapter 6: Tae

Namjoon POV:

We had been driving for a bit and I was starting to get worried. I hope Yoongi was just over exaggerating about Taes condition but knowing Yoongi he probably wasn't.

I really do feel bad for Tae. I know not having parents like me can be rough but when you do have them and they treat you like trash it's just heartbreaking.

And then there's Jin. From what I know it's just him and his little brother living together so I can already tell that's a handful for him.

He really is a nice person though, he try's to see the good in people even before he knows them. That's just an angel.

I look over at the drivers seat and take in his majestic face. His plump lips and round eyes shimmer in the sunlight.

I then notice how much of a creep I was being and turn back to looking out the window. I didn't realize that jungkook noticed though.

For most of the ride it's just silent but with music playing in the background. Sometimes I hear Jin sing a little and wish it could go on forever.

We finally arrive and I'm the first one to get out rushing to the door.

I knock a couple times until yoongis mother opens and greets me with a warm smile.

"Hey Namjoon, you here to see Tae I'm guessing"? She says.

"Yes. Is he awake yet"? I ask.

"Yep just woke up a little while ago".

She ushers all of us inside greeting Jin and Jk as well.

I look around until I spot him. Tae has bandages wrapped completely around his back to his stomach and I can see sweat dripping from his face. Yoongi is already over there holding his hand.

He then notices me and gets up coming over.

"Hey you came. Umm he's not talking yet but you can still go over to him." Suga says as he steps aside.

Me Jin and jungkook slowly walk over to him hovering over his body.

I stare at his face for a couple more seconds and then start to cry. I can't control my tears they just rush down my face as I hold his hand.

"Tae I'm so sorry. I should have let you stay at my place or just anywhere. I wish I could have been there for you." I say.

I then feel a hand on my shoulder and notice Jin is also kneeled down.

"You did nothing wrong. I was the one that told him
He could go home I caused this not you." He says as he rubs my back.

I just lay there still crying. Jin thankfully stays by my side telling me soothing words.

Jungkook then comes up next to Tae observing his injuries.

"Hey Tae I know we just met but I just wanna say I'm sorry as well for this. You never deserved this and I want to you know I care about you". He says as he sits next to Jin still observing him.

Tae then slightly squints his eyes as he adjusts to the light.

"Joonie, Jin and bunny". He says smiling. "You came".

Jungkooks cheeks get red at the nickname as he smiles glad Tae is awake.

"Yes of course we came Tae. That's what friends are for". I say.

Tae sits up looking around almost forgetting he was in Yoongis house.

"Joonie"? He asks.
