I stood nervously behind everyone, when the dreaded screen fluttered to life. I could feel the bile at the back of my throat. Was this going to happen every day for sixteen days, if I even live that long?
"Hello again," said the Gamemaster "I am sure you have all heard, or if not, seen the death of Isabella?"
Melissa looked like a ghost hyperventilating.
Lauren laughed.
"Well luckily for you, I will show you a exciting clip about her death!" He ignored us and carried on. "So here is the video tape recording, so sit back and enjoy."
The Gamemaster grinned and the screen switched to a dark corridor.
The footage was dreadfully clear, as usual. I hated the way that everything was so high-tech in this hell of a building.
There were two girls, Isabella and Melissa to be precise. It seemed like they were arguing with each other. Isabella started to smash Melissa's head against a wall.
Isabella?
I looked around, but all I could see was Melissa wailing in one corner, with her head between her knees.
Nothing made sense in this game.
Only people with the highest IQ could live.
I glanced at Adrian. He was scribbling something in his journal.
I focused my gaze at my shoes. I couldn't bear to see a brutal murder before my eyes.
A soft quiet sound amidst the comotion between Isabella and Melissa brought my attention back at the screen.
A figure in a black cloak, similar to the Gamemaster's stalked quietly into the scene. The murderer drew a short knife out of a sheath hidden cunningly under their cloak.
I gasped.
The room was deadly quiet, it seemed like the room was going to explode any second.
Suddenly, the figure drew out the dagger and tossed it forcefully into Isabella's back.
Isabella screamed so loud that I could hear her vocal chords ripping.
The room exploded into chaos.
My well earned breakfast threatened to make a reappearance, as I covered my ears and shut my eyes from everyone's cries of fear.
If I was to go through this at the start of every single damned day, I might as well forget about living this ruined life. Drifting off into eternal rest is all I wish for now.
No more comotion.
No more fear.
No more anything.
Just as I thought that this living hell of a video tape was not going to end, breaking glass was heard and then silence.
I opened my eyes.
Lauren grinned at us from the end of the room.
"It's funny how you guys, despite your ages, fear death and suffering so much. The sound of your crying and screaming, was just a pitch too loud for my liking, so I smashed the screen with my gun. Sorry for the inconvenience."
With that, Lauren stalked away from the main room and into the corridor, leaving cruel laughs behind.
A gun.
The only gun in the game possibly.
In her hands.
I shuddered and ran back into the boy's dorms to cry.

Author's note
Thank you guys! Sorry I haven't updated in so long. I hope this chapter is good, I tried to describe the death as much as possible. Lauren's little trick was a result of staying up too late, well I'm still not sure how I managed to get the idea of the screen-smashing, but I thought it was good so I added it in. ;)
Well done to @Tomasu_Suchuato for reaching 1k followers! I'm so proud! I can't imagine Wattpad without u.
Have a good day my readers!
