A week earlier...
I was walking down along the college campus until I bumped into Yugyeom, he was Jungkook's best friend, they were both in the same year, lower than me.
"Yugyeom! Nice seeing you here," I greeted with a smile.
"Oh, Nayeon-Noona! I didn't see you there. Nice seeing you too!" He greeted back.
I invited him for some coffee since our schedules were done and I didn't have work until 4 PM.
"So how's been college treating you?" I asked.
"Well, you know, school projects and assignments just never end so there's that. Have I told you about my new girlfriend?" He said switching the subject.
"No? You dropped Mincheol just like that?" I said surprised.
"For your information, Mincheol was just plain bitchy to everyone, even me. Wasn't even surprised when she cheated on me," He said while occasionally taking a sip or two from his hot beverage.
"So who's the new girl?"
"Tzuyu's the name," He bragged.
"Sounds foreign.."
"She's from Taiwan."
"I see," Then it was silent, it wasn't uncomfortable to me but I guess it was to him as he proceeded to talk.
"So how are you and Jungkook?"
"Well, he's been very distant. At first, I could understand but now he's just straight out avoiding me. I...I don't what's going on with him, I never know," Yugyeom seemed like he wanted to say something but ceased himself from doing so.
"I mean if he's got a new girl, he could've just told me. It makes things way easier for both our part."
"Would you get mad if he did?"
"Of course I would, I'm not apathetic. But at least be truthful, I don't know how long I can keep up with him," I sigh as I blow on my green tea.
"If it was the other way around would you say it?" Yugyeom said, a bit invested in my hypothesis with Jungkook.
"Well, of course, I might hide it for a little while, but I wouldn't suppress it from him, he has the right to know, the right to get mad at me. Hypothetically, it's my fault and I have to own up to it."
He looked very uneasy, something isn't right..
"Has Jungkook.. done anything wrong?"
He sighed heavily and mumbled words that were inaudible.
