Tris is Alive

Chapter 8

I couldn't go back to sleep so i decided to get dressed and go ahead to get food.
I do my hair in two dutch braids put on a dark gray short sleeved shirt so you can see the new tat on my wrist. i make sure the v-neck doesn't show my bird tattoo because that is a dead giveaway of who i am. i put on some black shorts and some tennis shoes and head to get some food. there are only a few people in here that i recognize. A group of people that i remember from dauntless years back Tobias eating alone and Drake and the As with him, i'm surprised they are up earlier than me.
I decide to go sit with Toby spice up this life and show my true colors.
"hey" i grab a muffin, chocolate my favorite. and some fruit.
"hi" he looks up and goes back to reading, i didnt know he read i guess this is a new thing.
"so what are we gonna do today" i'm trying to make my voice seem different just enough to where he can't tell it's mine.
"you will find out, now leave me alone, stiff" harsh i guess he's not too humorous in the morning.
"don't call me that, i'm not a stiff anymore" i'm definitely not but he doesn't know that of course.
"well you will prove it today" he gets up and walks away.
i will prove it today what does that even mean? I look in his hand to see what he was reading and it's names beside each other we are gonna fight today.
I wait a little while and Nick and Meg come sit with me along with Paige, Alyssa, Emma, Allen, And David. David is really shy for a candor he doesn't talk as much as the others but him and Allen have gotten really close. The three girls are always together and talking i just hope none of them get cut because they are actually really nice. I call them the trio because there is no point if there are always together.
" hey guys what's up"
"we were so worried about you we thought you ran off or something, Nick and i have been looking for you everywhere, why didn't you wait for us"
"oh i woke up early for a run, i'm okay i just like to get  out in the mornings and enjoy the outdoors"
" it's okay they walked with us" Paige pitches in, she might not be a candor but she definitely could be the amount she talks.
We all eat lunch, the trio all eats at the same time it's kind of funny so i try not to laugh, i'm just glad they found friends that are this close already it took me awhile to get friends i trusted.
Allen talks about all sorts of topics what rank we all probably are in, how the pit is structured, even about the behavior of the trio and how they do all the same stuff always together. He cracks me up, at least he still has his erudite culture in him. This is probably why David barley talks, that or he's just a really good listener.

i'm probably not gonna make the chapters much longer than this because i feel like too much is just too much also i wanna have more chapters than like 10 so i'm gonna make them about 400 words each so they stay on one to two topics and have a theme
