The Faces Of Love

Prologue

Dear Yrah,

First of all, I would like to apologize to you. I still requested to the editor-in-chief to entitle this section as "Prologue" but obviously, it seems like it's a combination of a letter of apology, sort of author's note and about the author.

I am sorry because this is not a type of story you love to read. You love inspirational and miraculous stories yet I gave you a biographical nonfiction story of us. You are suprised? So am I, haha.

To be honest, this should be placed at the last page of this book because this was the last one I am writing before submitting it. I don't really want to include this at first because I want to give this note separately, put in a blue scented paper, hand-written, but then I realized that a book without a prologue or an introduction looks incomplete. It feels like you want the readers immediately know how the story started or how the characters of the story met. A movie has a teaser so I think, same goes to the book. It's just my own opinion though, feel free to contradict me.

The Faces of Love (I don't know how I came up with that) is just a short novel and may not be the best book ever written, but I am hoping that you will still love this. I know that you already know how the story will flow, who will be the characters, what will be the climax, and what will be the ending, but please, read it.

I don't care if you're going to throw this or keep this, or you're going to write notes and even edit it. What matters for me is that, you will be my reader. It may sound demanding, but maybe, that's really I am.

After what happened in our lives, all I can do is to demand, even though some are impossible.

I think, it is already long for an introduction, or a letter of apology, or author's note, or anything you want to call it. It's time for me to end it temporary (because you know that I hate goodbyes).
