Rules and Regulations – Contestants

Thank you for participating in the Pinnacle Awards. We wish you the best of luck. Please make sure to read the rules carefully and to wait until you're verified before resubmitting your application.

– Follow the host @nwrittenthoughts permanently, as that is the only host that has a profile on this platform besides this profile and therefore has to navigate and organise everything involving the platform. Please give a follow to @ThePinnacleAwards during the Awards to keep up with any updates. These will be posted to the message board. This will be checked.

– Add "The Pinnacle Awards" to your public reading list to help us to fill up each genre so we can start judging soon.

– Contestants are encouraged to talk to each other. We want to build a sense of community and a place for support. Be polite.

– Interaction with judges of your own genre is not allowed. This can lead to disqualification for you, the judge, or both.

– Books are only allowed if they are written in English.

– Your book needs to have less than 14K reads, as we are aiming to find undiscovered work.

– The book submitted needs to have at least four chapters before being submitted (Prologue included). Short stories and Poetry need at least two chapters.

– You are only allowed to submit two books that are in different categories. For each book you submit, you are required to tag at least three people to participate in the award.

– Judges are allowed to apply, if their submitted work is not in the same category they are judging.

– You are required to inform us if you change your username or book name via private message.

- You need to follow your judge that will be revealed later on during their judging process.

– You need to vote on this part to verify you read the rules and accept any possible consequences caused by breaking them.
