The Power Of Dogs ~Bughead

It's been 4 months since Betty adopted Alfie and life had been great. Betty feels so much better. Her and Jughead exchanged numbers after he adopted Buddy so he could tell her when the book was finished and also to have another friend as Betty is a bit short on them surprising. Suddenly her phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Hi Betty it's me umm Buddy isn't very well and I think he swallowed a sock or something I don't know and I k how the practice is closed as it's 11pm but please can you help I can't lose him"

"Yeah I'm heading to the practise now I'll meet you there and don't worry he is gonna be fine"

"Okay thank you so much Betty"

Betty quickly got changed out of her pj's and headed straight to the vets. She unlocked the door and let Jughead inside carrying Buddy in his arms. She took Buddy out of Jugheads hands and carried him to the vet table. And then x-rayed him

"Right Jug you can wait in the waiting room, at home or as your my favourite customer apart from my family you can stay here and sit there *points to a chair*while I perform the surgery. "

"Um I'll stay I just dont want to be alone you know"

"Yeah sure now let's go"

Betty put an anesthetic mask on Buddy's face and performed the surgery. Shortly after the operation Buddy came back round again.

"Thank you so much Betts I appreciate it" * hugs her*

*hugs back* "No problem now I better get back and go to sleep or I'll be tired plus if my dog is awake he will be wondering where I am. "

"Sorry about that"

"Don't worry Jug I had to save Buddy and that was more important than my sleep and my dog wondering where I am."

"Oh ok and um the book came from the publisher yesterday so I will sign 2 copies for Juniper and Dagwood."

"Aww thank you so much they would love to meet you I mean only if you want to you know."

"Yeah sure I could surprise them with it at the weekend if that's ok"

"Yeah I'll text you the details I just have to let my sister know I'm coming first."

"Yeah of course"

"Anyway thank you for saving Buddy"

"No problem Jug now let's get out of here"

They leave the practice and Betty locks up

"Night"
