~•Ben's P.O.V•~
I had gotten to the Rebel base only to be looked at while being embraced by my mom. While some didn't believe I was good but some did. My mother led me to the briefing room, where many had gathered. Scanning the rows of faces, I noticed Poe, Finn, Jannah, and Rose, but no one else.
" So Ben why were you at the temple before Rey showed up to legit kill me?" Poe asked.
" Wait kill you what am I missing?" Finn asked, " ALSO WHY IS HE HERE HE'S GONNA KILL US ALL!?!!" He then yelled pointing at me.
" Rey is the granddaughter of Palpatine. She completed a ritual that transferred all of the powers of the Sith into her and she is now Empress Palpatine and leader of the Final Order also I switched sides. I'm good now and Poe to answer your question. I was trying to save Rey." I said.
" WHAT?!??" Finn yelled.
He looked as if he were about to say more, but he stopped, his hands clutching at his neck.
"Finn?" Poe said, taking a concerned step forward.
Finn made a gasping noise, his figure going rigid.
"He can't breath!" Rose shouted.
Immediately Poe rounded on me. "What did you do?" he snarled, taking a threatening step toward me.
"It wasn't me." I said, my gaze flitting from Finn's struggling form to Poe.
"Do something!" Rose pleaded (or maybe it was an order), her hand grasping my sleeve.
"I can't." I admit. For the first time in a while, I felt genuinely helpless, and it scared me.
At that moment, I sense something--no, someone, behind me.
My eyes widen with realization and I whip around.
Rey is standing there, her hand outstretched in the chokehold that's hurting Finn.
"Rey, stop!" I shout, using the force to knock her back.
Finn dropped to the ground, Rose and Leia rushing to his side. Poe, and many others for that matter, pull out blasters and train them on Rey.
Rey gave a feral snarl, her attention now on me, and ignited her double sided lightsaber, it's red glow casting ominous shadows across her face.
"Ben, over here!" Finn shouted, and I threw him my mom's old saber.
I then turned and ignited Uncle Luke's.
The light of battle glints in Rey's eyes and she then detached the two blades so that she's holding a saber in each hand.She knocked out all the other officers in the room along with Poe, Rose, Jannah, and my mother.
" REY why are you doing this!" Finn yelled, a tear running down his face.
" I'm finishing what my grandfather started." She replied sourly.
Rey raised her hand, lightning crackling from her fingertips. I quickly raised my lightsaber and deflected it. Then I ran at her and swung my lightsaber, our blades clashing. For a moment we were stuck that way, our faces barely inches apart from the glowing blades.
" REY WAKE UP THIS ISN'T YOU!" I yelled.
" This is me now, this is who I truly am," She said, then deactivated mom's lightsaber and threw Finn across the room.
