I nervously knocked on the front door of Harry's house. He had invited me over for lunch and I wasn't sure what to expect. I waited outside for awhile. Harry is here, right?

Of course he is! Why wouldn't he be?

Maybe he's only acting so nice so that he can get into your pants.

No! He wouldn't!

Yes he would. We both know that he wouldn't go for a girl like you.

I know but-

You are worthless just like your mother said. You are a mistake. You are not gorgeous or pretty or beautiful like Harry tells you. You shouldn't even be here right now. What are you doing? Leave!

"No! Stop!" I shouted at my self. I raised my hands to my ears trying to block out the voice inside my head. "Stop it! Stop! Just Stop!"

"Bria?" I heard a voice from inside the house say. I turn around to see Harry standing in the doorway. He had a towel wrapped around his lower half and concern was etched into his features.

"Hi," I whispered, removing my hands from my ears. I tried not to stare at his torso but how couldn't I? It was like the gods above had sculpted it. There was not a flaw.

"Are you alright?" He asked me. I took a deep breath.

"Perfect," I lied. I tore my eyes away from his body.

"I'm sorry, I mustn't have heard the doorbell, I just came out of the shower when I thought I heard something outside."

"It's alright," I didn't really feel like talking all of sudden.

"Come in, I'll go get dressed. Make yourself at home," He told me before heading upstairs. I sat down on the couch and his dog Charger came running up. He sat down beside me and rested his head on my lap. Gently, I pet his soft fur.

Leave! He doesn't actually like you. He just feels pity. Go home.

I don't want to leave.

Look, I'm trying to help. Just go before you hurt yourself more.

I'll be okay.

No you won't! He's using you to his advantage! How can you be so stupid? Pathetic!

The voice won't go away. It never does.

"Alright, Bria! Do want lunch?" I nodded. Harry was standing in front of me. He grabbed my hand and lifted me off the couch. We walked into his kitchen. There were steaming plates of pasta and cups of water.

"Did you make this?" I asked him.

"Uh, well. I I heated it up in the microwave. Sorry, I knew I should have made it myself but I'm not that great of cook an-" I cut him off.

"It's fine. I'm sure it taste amazing." He smiled at me and I took a seat. He sat across from me.

"So, Briana. Tell me about yourself." He said. I almost choked on a noodle.

"Uh well. I'm 18 and I'm graduating this year, thank god. I was born in Liverpool but when my dad died, my mom wanted a fresh start and she took us to Leicester. I think she still hurts though." I whispered the last part to myself. It's part of the reason she gets drunk and she is a very abusive drunk.

"I used to be able to play piano when I was younger but I've forgotten how to now." I chuckled.

"I like the color green and my favourite band is MayDay Parade. That's all." I finished. Harry looked at me thoughtfully.

"Favourite food?" He asked.

"Tacos,"

"Favourite movie?

"Hmm... The Book Theif?

"Favourite Book?"

"The Fault in Our Stars,"

"Agh," He stuck out his tongue. "What girl doesn't like that book?"
"What? It's very good! John Green is basically a freaking god." I told him.

"You are so cute when you are passionate about something." He said. What?
"Oh. Umm... Our food is getting cold." I blushed, spinning the noodles onto my fork.

He just smirked at me and began to eat as well. We soon finished and I went back to the living room and sat on his couch.

"Would you like to watch a movie?

"Do you have Netflix?" I asked him.

"Who doesn't?" He smiled. I don't.

"Right, anyways. What about The Book Thief?"

"I've never seen that movie, but if you like it then it's probably good." Harry put on the movie and as it started he leaned back. He was about to put his arm around me when I jumped up.

"I need to use the restroom," I said very quickly.

"Umm, it's just down that hallway." Harry pointed. I mumbled a thanks and walked towards it.

Was Harry going to put his arm around me? Do guys do that when they like you?

Of course not. Are you stupid?

Yes.

I already told you that he doesn't like you. Get over him.

Go away.

Why would I? Some one needs to tell you how unworthy you are. When your mom isn't around, I just take her place.

Stop. Stop. Stop.

Leave Briana!

"No!"

"Briana? Are you okay in there?" I burst into tears. They didn't stop.

"Bri? Please let me in." I didn't. I just kept crying. I gripped the sink, so I didn't fall over.

"Bria. Bria. Please. Bria please. I can help you. Please Bria." His voice and footsteps faded. Just as I thought he left, I heard the lock jiggle and then the door swung open. Harry stood in the doorway. His green eyes were wide as he threw down the keys and ran towards me. The angry voice in side my head stopped and I felt dizzy. Harry's arms held my body up as I fell over.

All the energy seemed to leave my body as I collapsed. My vision darkened as Harry panicked.

"Bria. Bria? Briana?" I heard him say.
Then he choked back a sob as I slipped unconscious.
