Damian's POV
I was sitting on the couch and every one was staring at me , expecting me to say something .
“ you know what forget it , tim burn it " Jason said and Tim switched on the lighter and began to bring the book closer to it .
“ no ! ” I yelled “ I'll tell you anything ! What do you wanna know ?! ”
“ what did you meant by ‘ I'm not a human ’ in the car ? ” Tim asked I sighed
“ you guys know about raven right ? How she's a half demon ? ” I asked
“ yes , are you saying that you're a half demon too ? ”
“ no I'm not a half demon . I'm half God ” I mumbled the last part
“ what ?! Speak louder ! ” Jason yelled
“ I said I'm a half God ! ” I yelled and they all looked at me with shock , then Tim asked
“ then which God is your parent ? ”
“ i can't tell you that ” “ alright , Tim burn it ! ” “ no ! Its death ! Death's my parent ! ” they all looked at me with shock then Jason spoke
“ dude ! You're mom had- ”“ no ! She didnt ! I have human parents ! ”
“ wait , how is that possible ? How are you a half God then ? ” dick asked
“ hmm I call bullshit , Tim burn it ! ”
“ no ! Why are you so eager to burn it ! ” “ I don't know I just like saying saying it ” Jason said shrugging and I looked at him not believing what he said , I looked at death to ask him to help me but he was calmly sitting and enjoying what was happening . he returned my gaze and waved at me

I looked back at the weird family and they were looking at me expecting an answer . I sighed
“ look I was born with human parents . I lived with my mother - ”
“ and you're father ? ” “ don't know , don't care so anyways i lived with my mother , she loved me but didn't spend anytime with me . she had hired multiple babysitters for me , who came and went but they weren't the ones to raise me , death was - ”
“ wait hold on this is going too fast ” Jason said “ yeah crow please explain in some detail ” dick said “ yeah and where did death came from ? You just throwed him in there without some explanation ” Jason said “ yeah please explain from where exactly he came from ” dick said “ look I don't know where he came from all I know is that he was there at the moment of my birth and he's been with me all those years raising me and looking out for me , he was there not my parents ”
“ alright so he adopted you ” “ yes ”
“ still doesn't explain how it made you a half God ”
“ oh , he made me drink his blood ”
“ wait what ! Hold up now ! He made you do what ?! ”
“ drink his blood ”
“ why would he do that !? ”
“ so that i become a half God ”
“ how does that even work ? ”
“I don't know I just know that his blood will change my body and it also gave me the ability to use magic , now can I please get the book back ? It doesn't belong to me it belongs to death ”
“ alright one last question , who is your father ”
“ death "
“ no , I meant your human father"
“ i dont know ”
“ what do you mean you don't know ?! "
“ look I'm not interested in finding my father like other children would be , as far as I know death was the one to raise me so he's my father . now can I get the book back ? "
Jason stared at me for a few seconds before taking the book from Tim and giving it to me . I hugged the book to my chest . finally ! I got it back
“ so where is your mother ? ". dick asked
“ I don't know , nor do I Care "
“ so are you an orphan now ? "
“ no I have death , I'm not an orphan "
“ aww man ! And here I thought that Bruce here can adopt you and you can become our little brother ! " dick said looking devastated
“ I don't think death will like it if someone adopted me ". I said
“ I'm cool " death said and I glared at him
“ oh come on ! " dick yelled and every one ignored him . I sighed in relief i was really grateful that I managed to think of a convincing story
