~ Chapter III ~

"Get over here lover boy!" Eging Jr shouted.

"This is going to be a disaster," I thought.

(Rider's P.O.V)

I angrily sighed. Now they all knew I liked Goggles, that's basically everyone I know!

"Why did you bring the entire Inkpolice?!" I yell at Emperor.

"I just brought a few people," Emperor chuckled.

"Your gonna need our help Rider. You're awful with people!" Aloha shook his head.

"Not true!" I defend myself, somewhat hurt.

Everyone whispered in each other's ears for a couple of seconds.

It was finally Emperor who spoke, "Here's the plan..."

(Third person's P.O.V)

Goggles walked around the plaza when he saw Rider. He wasn't wearing his usual gear which was weird. He was wearing a red and black shirt, his usual shorts, and boots.

"Hey, Rider!" Goggles smiled as he ran up to Rider.

"H-hi umm..." he looked into the distance at Emperor who was giving him a thumbs up.

"W-Would you go uhhmm. Never mind!" Rider stammered.

Emperor shook his head in disappointment.

"I mean would y-you go to..." Rider mumbled. "D-dinner with me?"

"Sure!" Goggles beamed "Why you so nervous?"

"I um, dunno."

Goggles gave Rider a quick hug.

"So what time?" he asked. "Also where?"

"What sounds good?" Rider said back.

"Hmm I could go for sushi but I honestly wouldn't mind anywhere else."

"Okay, we can get that, 6:30?"

"Great! Cya then! I gotta run," Goggles said as he ran off.

Emperor and the rest of the group of squids from earlier walked up to Rider.

"That was the most cringy thing I've seen in my lifetime," Aloha laughed.

"Yeah, I'm surprised Goggles asked why you were nervous though. I mean, he could obviously tell you were acting weird." N-pacer said as she folded her arms.

"You sure, need more help!" Emperor sighed.

(Rider's P.O.V)

I waited by the sushi place near the Square as I waited for Goggles. I knew he was usually late to things but I at least hoped he brought clothes.

Aloha, Mask, Emperor, and Skull were going to help me in incognito. I just hoped they didn't look too suspicious to Goggles.

To my relief Goggles showed up wearing clothing. He wasn't too late either! He wore a light grey hoodie with the Squid Sisters logo on the back, his usual shorts, his goggles, and grey boots. I was still wearing my clothing from earlier but I put my jacket over it, it was getting chilly.

We walked in with the incognito group slowly following. I just hoped they wouldn't end up making a scene.

We sat at a booth next to the biggest window. Goggles stared in awe at the stars up above.
