「ᴘᴇssɪᴍɪsᴍ 」

Jimin's P.O.V

    That evening, Jimin got home to Hoseok looking like, and being, a mess.
He made his brother spill everything and is shocked to say the least.

    "You know that Taehyung has a crush on you and you like him back?" Jimin asks, astounded.

    Hoseok nods, sniffling.

    "And you like Yoongi too..." Jimin trails, thinking. "This is a mess!" He exclaims and Hoseok pouts.

    "I know it's a mess, Min." Hoseok sighs, rubbing his puffy eyes.

    "Sorry, I- This is just so much to process. You like my best friend! We are the exact same and you gave me a hard time for not telling you." Jimin states with narrowed eyes, ready to be angry with his brother, but the sight of his sadness makes Jimin suppress it.

    "I know, I'm sorry, but to be fair you hid it from me for years, I've only been attracted to Tae for a few months." Hoseok defends weakly, leaning back on the bed.

    Jimin just sighs and nods, not wanting to fight.

    "I don't know what to say... I wouldn't want to be with someone who likes someone else too, either." Jimin says, shrugging.

    "I know, I'm fucked. I'll just have to let them both go. There is no other solution." Hoseok says, defeated.

    Jimin frowns, feeling so bad for his brother. His usually bright face is replaced by something gloomy and sorrowful. It makes Jimin hurt too. 

    "Hey... I'm sure it'll work out eventually, yeah? You're still friends, this little bump can't have broken the bond you've worked on for over three years. It may take some time, but you'll find each other, even if it's just as friends." Jimin encourages.

    Hoseok musters up a small smile, "Thanks, baby bro." he says and Jimin rolls his eyes playfully.

     "Still not a baby." He says and Hoseok scoffs, "But you have to talk to Tae too, you know. He needs to know about this." Jimin continues and Hoseok buries his face in his hands.

    "I don't want to break any more hearts, Min. I'm breaking my own in the process and... I don't think I can take it." Hoseok breathes out, sounding exhausted.

    "I can talk to him... that way he'll have me to comfort him too." Jimin offers.

    "Yeah, that's a good idea..." Hoseok mumbles and Jimin can see how tired he is as his eyes are closing slowly.

    "Goodnight, big brother. I love you."

    "I never would've imagined that Hoseok would be the one to cause our group to split up." Jungkook says, stabbing a piece of cucumber with his fork.

    "Don't say that. It's not splitting up, it's just... a little unstable right now. And it's not Hoseok's fault that his heart wants them both." Jimin argues.

    It's currently monday, six days since the party at Jungkook's house, five days since Taehyung broke down, four days since Hoseok and Yoongi called it quits and two days since Jimin filled Taehyung in on Hoseok's feelings. 

    It's lunchtime and Jimin, Jungkook and Jin are sitting alone at their usual table.
Yoongi and Namjoon are sitting with the basketball majors, Hoseok is at home, avoiding the world for one more day, and Taehyung is at a dance practice, also avoiding everyone.
