kairi has been hanging out with his new friend lately her name is avery she's technically the dream girl you want

he's been hanging out with her 24/7 he even brings her over on dates. i didn't say anything about it cause i want him to have friends and shit. avery is really sweet and nice, but she's a huge flirt. i don't mind that but what i mind is that she flirts with my boyfriend the person i'm dating. i told kairi about this but he just says "you're the person i'm dating and she's just a friend" so i now ignore it. they also have names for each other averys is riri and kairis is bub. he calls me y/n ever since they started dating- i mean hanging out

today avery is gonna be here again and i wanted to see if she had a little crush.

"avery is coming in 2 minutes" kairi said with a huge smile on his face

i fake smile and nod

"she's here" he jumped out his seat and ran downstairs

i sighed and followed him.

"bub!" avery screamed and hugged him full on with her legs around his waist

"hey riri" he said

i stood by the stairs awkwardly, they saw each other 2 day ago i-

she let go and walked over to me

"hey y/n" she had her hand out

"hey" i said and shook her hand

"well what are we gonna do today?" avery asked

"we can go to the mall" i said

"nah i don't feel like it" avery said

"let's go out to eat" avery said

"sure!" kairi said and grabbed his keys and walked out with avery

i grabbed my phone and closed and locked the door. i walked over to the passengers seat and opened the door hug avery was sitting there

"sorry y/n riri called shotgun" kairi said

"but-" i got cut off

"i could go in the back" avery said

"no stay here" kairi said

"it's fine i'll just go in the back" i said and closed the door and sat in the back.

when we were driving over there none of them talked to me but it's fine. once we got to the restaurant we hopped out the car and walked into chick-fil-a

"i'll find seats" avery said

"ok" me and kairi said

she walked away and now it's me and kairi

"i love you" kairi said randomly as he grabbed my hand

"um i love you too" i said back

we ordered and sat where avery was. avery sat in front of me and kairi beside me.

"imma go to the washroom" kairi said and we nodded and he left

i guess now is the time to ask

"avery" i said

"yes" she said

"i have a question" i said

"what's up?" she asked

"i'm doing you have a crush on kairi?" i asked

"of course not" she scoffed

"he's your boyfriend" she said and i know she's lying

"avery don't lie, i won't be mad" i said

she sighed

"okay maybe i do" she said

"okay i have a huge one" she said and i nodded

kairi came back and sat back to where he was

"what are you guys talking about" he asked

"nothing" me and avery said.

we finally got out food and started eating. avery was so flirty with kairi and kairi didn't do anything about it and in fact he flirted back i was so sick of it at this point.

once me and kairi got home i wanted to ask him something right when we walk pass that door. we already dropped off avery at her house.

we hopped out the car and walked to the door i unlocked it and put my keys down and closed my door

"kairi" i said

"yeah" he turned back to me

"you love me right?" i asked

"yeah of course why you asking?" he asked

"well avery has been flirting with you none stop and has been hanging out with you 24/7 and you even brought her on dates i didn't wanna day anything because i know you guys are just friends but i know in my gut you have some feelings for her and i know she had feelings for you because she told me. and i was just sick of it you guys act like a couple and i'm just a 3rd wheel." i explained

"what makes you think i have feelings for her" he asked

"1. you always let her hang out with us

3. you call her bub or riri and you call me y/n

5. you let her have front seat all the time

"so i want you to choose" i said

"choose?" he repeated me

"choose me or avery" i said

"avery.. right" i said as my vision became blurry

"if i were you, i would choose the 2nd option" i said as tears went down from my eye

"well if you truly loved me you wouldn't like another girl right and kai just admit you like her, ever since 8 months ago" i said

"i do but i wanna be with you" he said as he grabbed onto my hands

"but i like avery too and yes ever since i met her" he said

i bit my lip trying to not sob

"then go to her, i could tell she likes you a lot" i said as i let go of his hands

"what about you?" he asked

"i'll be fine" i said

"i'll stay in the guest room for now" i said and kissed his cheek and went upstairs
