'I smell a feud.' Uttara muttered her opinion as Pragati massaged her limbs. Pragati who was just humming some tone, away from the problems of her elder sister, turned her head in fury. 'Feud?' She questioned. 'How uncaring you could be Pragati?' Uttara opened her eyes and then held Pragati's hands 'Suthanu Jiji is definitely not on terms with Prince Bhanu!' She exclaimed.
'BhabhiShree...' Pragti pestered her 'You barely know my elder, she has been like this all her life.' Pragati closed her eyes in confidence. However, it wasn't so true this time.
-------
Suthanu felt shivers running down her spine when she checked the amount of time she had spent, standing there staring at nothingness. And that absolutely traumatized her. She has been always too much into her sensibility that now it looked awfully confusing to think about a basless small talk, isn't it?
Why was there a need to think of Prince Bhanu and his baseless behaviour?
Why was there a need to speak against his own prejuidices she shouldn't legitly care about?
But then, when he spoke well of her, her eyes did soften for a matter of few seconds, she did feel worthy of his appreciation- and of-course she was trying, trying really hard to stay up angry and frustated in her mind- but all those sensations of enthusiasm was making it difficult to connect the dots.
So what was happening? She clapsed her head, sighed and started walking back to her own chamber.
---------------
'Don't give me ideas Arya!' Draupadi snapped her fingers as Sahdev made a why-so look.
'You seriously need to think of Suthanu's marraige.' Sahdev scratched his head.
'I leave it on you. I can't search prospects to send my daughter to some foreign kingdom. And anyways, while doing your search you better keep in mind the proximity of kingdoms from Hastinapur.' Draupadi was all agitated. She didn't like the idea of sending her replica away, even though she was ready to make a list of dos and don'ts for the same thing.
'I know how it feels.' Sahdev annonced in hushed tones. The crackling of warm air was swishing across their chamber, the burning of night oil in the lamps, and the realisation of destiny.
'And I just try to keep the feelings away. What shall we reap?' Draupadi shook her head and dismissed further thoughts from entering.
'We shall reap nothing. Like we always do.' Sahdev put her head on the couch, trying to rest, of-course not in peace.
------------
Bhanu stuttered over the ivory floor of his chamber. They say it kills the heat, but then it made him jittery. His body and mind failed to coordinate, for the first time in his life - he was in love.
He knew it so well. And it didn't need a scripture to define it.
It feels like you are in the sky and in a deep pit at the same time.
It feels like being confident and shy at the same time.
It feels like the ink of words drying on your lips and the marquee of sentences running like insane in your mind.
It just feels like something so not right, but still everything is.He stood. Still.
He sat. Still.
And then he walked around. Beads of persepiration rolled down, all the alacrity he had possessed was draining into nothingness. He wanted to shout, and the next moment nothing escaped his throat. How would I tell her the truth?
Samba entered the chamber in all knowledge. He looked at the weary state of his brother, the awkwardness of his demeanour and the defeat of his heart.
'I know what all has conspired between you two.' Samba sat at the opposite end of the bed.
'In all honesty, nothing.' Bhanu didn't attempt any hide. He just shut his eyes and rested his head on his hands.
'And that,' Samba turned around 'is the only problem.'
'You don't expect me to destroy civility, do you?' Bhanu was hysterical.
'There is no civility in love. Just confessions and acceptance of the verdict.' Samba looked at him with all the humility he had possessed.'Confessions?' Bhanu again questioned 'We should not be kidding anyone dear brother. Your ways can't be treaded by me. You have been too courageous.' Bhanu shook his head. He would definately not kidnap Suthanu.
'You think I kidnapped Laxmanaa in my ego?' Samba chuckled.
'Then what?' Bhanu drew his eyes to the conversation he had never had with his brother.
'Not really. Father told me to go and take her. He said that what she wants shall reap her nothing.' Samba laughed on recounting his talk with his Father Krishna.
'Father told you to Kidnap a girl! I thought he wasn't much welcoming of the idea?' Bhanu looked over in confusion.
'You can't look welcoming when you have a war waged at the threshold of your city, moreover, no he never told me to kidnap her. He stated that my love and passion for the lady would drive me to the deed and not his commands. And seriously, Laxmanaa has been the lost and only puzzle of my jigsaw.' Samba narrated.
'And what about her lost piece of puzzle?' Bhanu narrowed his eyes.
'I don't know. She says she loves me. I can see it. But we are not always heaven made puzzle pieces waiting to be joined. Almost all the times we cut and model ourselves to fit in. I am ready to do it.' Samba announced in all reverance to the lady he had married.
------------
Sahdev had called up for a brother's meet up.
'What do you want to announced in the middle of the night?' Bheem rubbed his eyes drowsily. He sat with a thud and huffed, his dark circles prominent, which he was determined to remove.
Yudhisthir sat with his spine straight and body flexed. 'Anything wrong?' He bobbed up his head to which Sahdev replied in negative.
'You know' Arjun narrowed his eyes towards his youngest 'You better start.' he commanded.
'Of course, Nakul? Nakul?' Nakul was still snoring in his couch until he got a slap from Sahdev.
Sahdev coughed and looked down 'I have a good prospect for Suthanu.' He shot his head up.
'Prospect, what prospect?' Nakul scratched his head a bit confused.
'late night blues.' Arjun shook his head in sarcasm.
'Arjun!' Yudhisthir called his younger brother.
'I was just trying to explain that Sahdev's prospect means a marraige prospect.' Arjun passed a cheeky grin as Nakul got the nag of the situation.
'Marraige?' Yudhisthir questioned his younger brother.
Before Sahdev could speak Bheem came forward with a name 'With Prince Bhanu.' He spoke with an all known attitude.
'Exactly!' Sahdev passed a big grin.
It was that way.
