Prompt

Theo grinned as he leant on the wall watching you frown at him. "Did you just ask if I come here often?" You asked. Malia stood beside you, equally unamused by Theo.

"We're at school Theo. We're here five days a week." Malia said to Theo whose smile fell. He started sputtering to come up with something new.

"We should leave, we're supposed to meet Stiles by his car." You pointed out to Malia who looked like she was enjoying watching Theo struggle. She agreed and started to follow you but he rushed after you.

"You're missing out, you know." Theo assured you.

"You think if maybe we ignore him, he'll go away?" You asked Malia who frowned as she got several texts. No doubt from Stiles. He'd been trying to rush everyone to the library all day.

"We can only hope." She answered, smiling as she realised how frustrated Theo was at being ignored. "You know. If you don't want to go out with him, you could go out with me. Night time hiking. It'd be safer with me!" She offered.

"That sounds so delightful and definitely not deadly Malia, I would love to." You said cheerfully, grinning at Malia as Theo started to huff and complain that you'd told him you would be too busy to go on a date with him.

"I'd do a good job protecting you! Don't worry." She assured you as she hugged you and led you past a fuming Theo.

"My hero." You said in a sweet voice, pretending to swoon over Malia who grinned. Theo followed the two of you to Stiles' car. He only left when he tried to get in the back with the two of you and Malia shoved him out of the way, yenking a surprised Liam into the spare seat by the back of his collar. "I think I'll have to start carrying a spray bottle around with me." You said loudly enough for Theo to hear. The two of you laughed as he seemed to finally get the message you weren't interested after days of rejecting him.
