If its in italics and does NOT have quotations marks its all Mandi thinking in her mind.

(Mandi's pov)

I wake up by my mom calling my name and tapping my shoulder.

"What is it mom?"

"Alec. He's here"

I get up from my bed. "What do you mean Alec's here?! Where?! How do you know "

"I know because your father has him in...."

"In where mom?!" By now I'm shaking my mom by the shoulders. She needs to tell me where he is! I hope my father doesn't have him in that room.

"MANDI! GET DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!" Yells my father from downstairs.

I quickly get dressed in the first shirt I find and the first pair of pants that I see which end up being a black I'm awesome shirt and some jean shorts.

I run down the stairs not caring that I might hurt myself and hurt the slashes on my back. I need to get to Alec before he does something to him.

Once I get downstairs I start to look for him. For Alec. But there's no one here. Shit shit shit.

"Sir?" I ask not very loud just incase.

"Get in this room right now!" I hear him down the hallway.
No no not that room. I cant go in there. No no.

"Mandi?"

I hear my name being called. Its not by my father its by someone else, it so soft I almost missed it.

Without another thought I sprint down the hallway and turn left at the end and enter the first door to the right.  The sight that I was welcomed with was one that I will never be able to forget.

Alec was sitting on a wooden chair, tied to the chair. But that's not the worst part, tha worst part was the fact that he had busted lip, his clothes were all shredded and bloody. He had a black eye, and bloody cuts all over his arms and legs.

No no Alec! He's a monster!

"A-al-lec" Is the only thing I managed to get out.

He looks up to me when he hears his name. He tries to smile but ends up more like a frown when he his lips starts to bleed even more.

No no. Please why? Why would he do this to him? Was it because he saw him sneaking in to the house?

"Well this is what you get for going against me when I told you to stay away from him. I warned you Mandi."

"Mandi dont listen to him love. Im ok" Alec says

"No you're not. Alec."

Slap. "shut up!" He slapped me. What the hell?

"See this is all so fun to me. Its a thrill. I mean I told you not to get near him and you still did. So now I get to have fun torturing him!" He laughs.

It sounds so cold, so evil it sends shivers down my spine and they're not the good kind. I make contact with Alec, Im sorry I mouth to him. He just shakes his head and mouths back Dont.

I need to get him out of here. This room is where he has tortured me for years, and his about to do it to Alec. I cant let that happen. He's already in his hit list. I have to do something. But what?

"Sir I'll trade my life and my body for his. You can torture me and let him free" I say as calmly as I can knowing that if I so much as stutter Alec will get it.

"Ha! You actually think I'll do that?! I let you do it with your mother because I felt- generous " he stop as if to find the right word.

"Im not letting you do shit but you are going to watch me beat him to death. What do you think?"

"No! Please. I'll do anything!" I fall to my knees begging.

"Sut up you filthy bitch!" Slap!

He go to get a chair while I just lay in the floor. I look up. Run Alec mouths to me.

I get up and try to run but I dont get far before he grabs me by the hair and pulls me until im sitting on a chair. He lets go of my hair so he can tie my hands behind the chair. Once he's done he drags me and the chair to where I'm in front of Alec.

"Im so sorry. This is all my fault." I whisper to Alec.

"I love you Mandi. Just remember that alright." He whispers back

"I love you too A- Slap!

"Shut up!"

He takes the whip amd starts to whip Alec.

"No! No! Stop!!"

"Please stop!" By now im crying so hard everything is blurry.
20 slashes! 20! I can't do shit to help him.

"Ok that's enough for today. Have fun kids." He just walks out like nothing happened. Like he didnt just whipped someone not even 5 seconds ago!

How can he be so cruel?

I dont know how long we stay there tried to the chairs but it feels like forever has past when I hear the door crack open. I try to turn around see who it is, I hear footsteps come closer until- Mom?
"Mom what are you doing here?"

"Shh. I came here because he told me to untie you guys because hell move you to the other room tomorrow where he has more tools." She says and I can hear the fear in her voice.

Shit I've only been to the other room once and I almost died when I did.

She unties us. "Im so sorry" she says before she walks out of the room.

I walk to where Alec lies on the floor. "Im so sorry. I told you I wasnt good for you" I start to play woth his hair and I know he's tired and would fall asleep soon.

"I still love you" he says before he falls asleep with his head on my lap while my back is against the wall.

I dont know how or when but I will get us out of here. Including my mother. I cant let this keep on going. I just cant. He just touched the most important person in my life, he wont get away with this.
