Calum's pov (the next morning)
I get up at 7:00 the next morning. I walk over to my wardrobe and pick out a Sleeping with sirens tank and a pair of jeans.
I quickly put them on due to it being so cold. After I get dressed I walk over to my dresser and decide to wear my glasses since I hate having to put on contacts.
I walk downstairs, I feed my fish nemo and leave my house. After a couple of minutes walking I reach my school.
I see Michael talking to the principle so I don't walk over to him because I'm guessing he's in trouble by the look on his face.
My first class is English so I walk to room 94. When I get to the room no one is there but I take my seat anyways.
Just after I sit down Kylie walks in. "Hi Calum" she says excitedly. Why would she be excited to talk to me I think to myself.
"Hey Kylie" I answer. "OMG I LOVE YOUR SLEEPING WITH SIRENS SHIRT WHERE DID YOU GET IT" she exclaimed."
I never knew you liked them Kylie but I got it at hot topic but you probably never heard of that shop "I say with a grin."
Calum are you serious I love sleeping with sirens and I shop at hot topic all the time" Kylie replies.
"I must go to my seat because class is starting soon bye Calum "Kylie waves before going to her seat
Seconds later the teacher and the rest of the class walks in but I notice that our teacher is carrying a huge chart.
"Good morning class today we are picking the pairs for the English project about our favourite things.
As sad as it may seem you will not be picking the pairs as I already have them picked. The pairs are
Sean and Jack
John and Sarah
Linden and Chad
Cameron and Emma
Lily and Tanya
Finn and Dan
Tyler and Hayes
And last but not least...
Calum and Kylie". My mouth dropped I'm with Kylie , Im partners with Kylie Anderson.
I look in Kylie's direction and see her smiling as big as I am. Why would she be so happy to be paired with me I think to myself but I shake it off
"Okay class as this project will need a lot off work I'm allowing you the day off to work with your partner to come up with the topic you'd choosing bye kids have a nice day" I hear my teacher say before he leaves the room.
Before I can exit my chair ,a very happy Kylie walks over to my desk." Do you wanna come to my house to work on the project" Kylie asks "uh um okay " I reply.
"Cool we can walk to my place I don't live far from here c'mon " I hear Kylie say before she rushes out the door.
After 5 minutes of walking we reach Kylie's house.I was shocked when I saw it.
I expected her to live in a big house since she's your typical popular girl, but her house is kinda small but it's really nice though
"If you want we can go work on the project in my room" Kylie asked nervously.
Lately Kylie's been talking to me a lot and acting nervous and excited when she's around me it's very weird but I actually love that she's noticeing me.
"Sure" I reply quickly. Kylie mumbles okay and starts walking upstairs. I did not expect to see when Kylie opened the door.
Her walls were painted black and white. A large bed was placed in the centre of the room. The bed had a PTV blanket thrown over her bed.
The walls were covered in posters of YouTubers, bands , video games and a collage of tattoo ideas/inspiration in the middle of all of it.
"I know you are surprised by your face but this is the real me. I'm just a regular girl that loves alternative bands and anything punk, I know you'll hate me for pretending I'm someone I'm not but I need your help. I'm gonna be true to myself and be myself.
"What do you mean by that" I questioned. "I'm gonna dye my boring brown hair..... White that'll look awesome." She replied
"Uh okay " I answered lost for words. " we better get goin to the shop to get dye then cmon" she told me before rushing out the door.
