It's been ten years since I've last updated this.
Bertram, always in his grumpy mood, gets up early and walks to the elevator. "God, so tiring," he said to himself. The elevator dings and the doors open, revealing Tony waiting at the door.
"Hey, Bertram," Tony said.
"Aren't you supposed to be waiting to open doors?" Bertram asked, in his usually grumpy tone.
"I was actually going to see Jessie."
"Good luck with that. She's asleep, and she snores like a pig."
"Oh, okay. I guess I'll just stay down here instead."
"Yup."
"Why'd you come down here, anyway? Going somewhere?"
"No, I came down to get away from those children."
"It's 5:00 am, aren't they asleep?"
"Yes. And I'd like to keep it that way. If it's 5:00 am, why were you going to see Jessie?"
"Oh.. Uh.. No reason." Bertram gave Tony a 'sure' look, then rolled his eyes.
"Hmm... Alright." Tony nervously chuckles at Bertram's comment.
"Wo- Would you like to play a game?"
"Wow, that's funny," Bertram laughs. "Oh, you're serious? Well, I guess. Which game?"
"How about.... Uno!" Tony exclaims as he pulls out the cards.
"Fine." Tony and Bertram begin to play. "Draw four, and the colour is blue," Bertram laughs.
"No, draw eight," Tony replies, placing another card. "Yellow."
"Try me, bitch." Bertram places another 'plus four' card down.
"Dammit!" Tony grabs twelve cards, none of them being blue. "Just my luck."
"Uno!" Bertram exclaims. After Tony plays his next card, Bertram wins.
"Aw, come on. Tenth time!" Tony whines.
"One final round?"
"Fine." Tony laughs as soon as he sees the cards he was dealt. Bertram was up for a challenge. Yes, he was.
"Colour is red, number is eight." Bertram tells Tony.
"Okay." Tony places a red four, followed by Bertram's red plus two. Tony laughs as he grabs two cards.
"Why are you laughing?"
"Oh, you'll see," Tony chuckles, "You'll see." You could tell Bertram looked a bit worried. Bertram plays a card, and Tony sets down a skip, followed by three more skips.
"Wow, you've got some good cards."
"Yes, yes I do."
"Oh well. My turn. Better make you draw four."
"Or make you draw eight."
"Twelve."
"SIXTEEN!" (I'm a grandmother.) Bertram had a huge look of shock on his face. He did not expect that to happen. The game was almost over, too. Tony had three cards. And now Bertram had 21.
"Ha, looks like I finally won."
"We'll see." But really, Bertram didn't stand a chance. Tony places a red two. Bertram sees and smiles, placing a blue two, knowing the chance of Tony having blue cards was low. Tony drew one card.
"Starting to draw cards now, huh?"
"Nope," Tony replied, placing down the card he just drew. A blue plus two.
"Sorry," Bertram said, placing another plus two. Tony drew four.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Because you still have over fifteen cards."
Bertram rolled his eyes as he placed down three blue skips, one yellow, one red, and five greens. "Oh really, now?"
Tony sighed, knowing Bertram might win once more. This game might just go on forever.
"Well, I would like to skip you twice."
"Fine by me."
"Now draw two."
"Alright."
"Here's a green five."
"Got a green two right here."
"Red two."
"Blue two."
"Yellow two."
"Yellow plus two." Tony sighed, grabbing two. Bertram drew a card, due to having no yellows.
"I will place a yellow one."
"Red one." The game went on and on for what felt like an hour.
"Uno!" Tony exclaimed excitedly.
"Draw four, colour is yellow, and now I have two left." Tony drew four, and Bertram placed a yellow three. "Uno!" Tony placed a plus four. "Blue." Bertram drew four, none being blue. Tony placed a blue eight. Bertram drew one card. This could be Tony's chance.
"Plus two." Bertram grabbed two. "Skip." Tony placed a green five. "Uno!"
"Oh no..."
"What?"
"I have to draw," Bertram replied as he drew a card. Tony suddenly had a huge grin.
"I WIN!" Tony yells, extremely happy. He places a green two and jumps in joy. Bertram sighs. It was his first time losing a game of Uno.
A/N: That was an extremely boring chapter. You read a chapter about Bertram and Tony playing Uno- I literally had no clue what to write. F in the chat if that disappointed you. Thanks for reading though.
