The mass of darkness carried him into, who knows what? He grimaced at the harsh, fast force pulling him to his destination. But, the darkness had flecks of light?
Through his eyelids, he could see colors ranging from blues to bright reds and pinks. Curious, he attempted to squinch his eyes open, and quickly shut them. He tried his best not to barf on himself by swallowing it. Ew.
Aside from the rushing lights and colors, he noticed a mass of purple was surrounding him. It looked like a mist, or gas. It's too vague to be sure.
This only briefly crossed his mind, as he felt like Zeus decided to throw him around like a ragdoll.
Oh, gods. Nico clamped his mouth shut as another wave of sickness hit him. Why can't I just die on solid ground? Anything but the skies.
He felt his eyes roll back as he fell into unconsciousness.

"Hey, kid! Wake up."
Nico's eyes fluttered open. He squinted at the figure standing over him.
"Try not to move, there's an ambulance on the way."
His vision cleared to see a middle aged man wearing baggy clothes with a long, wiry beard.
"Where am I?" His voice just managed to scratch out.
"I found you in this alley a few blocks from the Soba restaurant. You are very lucky this place is so popular. You would've been screwed if a drug dealer had found you."
This is when Nico noticed his accent.
"This isn't your native language, is it?" he asked uncertainly.
"Uh, no?" he gave the demigod a look of incredulity, but it was quickly masked with optimism. "I figured you must be a tourist, since you can't understand Japanese."
Nico was about to ask but was cut off.
"It's my quirk. I can translate up to five languages at once. If I try to translate too much I can get a little tongue twisted." He let out a laugh. "Someone said I sounded like an angry chicken once."
The child of Hades was taken aback by the weird use of quirk, but he brushed it off as the man's special talent. He should stick with the tourist story, though. He didn't want to look like some crazy person that has been hiding in a hole all his life.
He nodded. "Yeah, I was with some school friends and-" He let out a hiss. He felt pain stretch from his arm to the top of his spine. His head hung from the weak state he was in.
The Super Translator gently positioned his head back against the brick wall.
Nico glared at the gesture, but the man didn't seem to notice. He only let out a shiver from the sudden cold that settled in the alley.
"Do you need anything while we-" a loud siren interrupted him as the squeal of tires neared.
Great, now I don't have to deal with this happy-go-lucky fella. Then Nico remembered that a mad scientist running tests on your blood is worse.
"Ugh," Is all he could protest.
The man that is his savior and his doom called out to the EMT's, but not in any language Nico knows of.
Three EMT's rushed to him and briefly conversed with the man standing next to him. He's probably informing them of what happened (not much words there), but the only word Nico could understand was English. So, he had a close idea of what was happening.
