Chapter 5: Complications

It's been over a week now, since Haruka and I shared our night of passion. The next morning, the others found out immediately because we discovered that Mirai had seen all of it and now I can't look her in the eye. On the bright side, Haruka and I are rarely ever apart from each other. When we're in public, unless it's the bathroom, we barely ever let go of each other, we work at the same place, so I don't leave until she does and she won't leave until I do, so that we could always walk home together. At home, we barely stay off each other, I managed to soundproof my room so that we wouldn't get found by the others too often and wouldn't have worry about the noise we made. It also helped that Haruka had been using a drug she made to keep herself from getting pregnant since, neither of us were ready for a child.

Currently, Haruka and her friends had all gone off somewhere, they couldn't fully explain it but, I took it as free time to work away at my novel. However, nothing was coming to mind for me. "Maybe, I should take a break, then again, I've had nothing but breaks since I got with Haruka." Perhaps a bit of outside inspiration. I thought as my phone then went off. I got a text from Shiki. And an excuse to go outside has arrived. 

Shiki: Hey, me and the girls were gonna head to a water park

Shiki: Like, you wanna come?

(Y/n): Yes, I could use some fun in the sun."

The park was huge, pools, slides, and attractions all over the place. This was certainly a place I had never been to before. "So where is Shiki?" I asked myself. "(Y/n), over here!" There she is. I turned to look at her and, I was at a loss for words. Good lord, she looks hot as hell! I thought and just stared at her in the blue swimsuit that clearly was meant to show off her figure. "You okay (Y/n)?" She asked as she noticed my drifting. "Y...Yeah I'm fine, just noticed how beautiful you look." I complimented her. She blushed, "Oh, thanks." She replied. Shit, stop it (Y/n), you have Haruka, don't betray her, stupid! "Like, come on, the others are waiting!" She spoke grabbing my arm and leading me to the pool.

Yumi, Yozakura, Minori, and Murakumo were all playing in the large open pool, they were all wearing the same swimsuit that Shiki was wearing, I guess as a sign of friendship. "Look who's here!" She called and they all turned to see me. They waved at us, Minori jumped out of the pool and hugged me by wrapping herself around me. "(Y/n)!" She yelled as I hugged her back. "Hey, Minori, your grip sure is strong." I replied. I was happy to see them. "Glad you could make it." Murakumo spoke coming to the side of pool. Her mask wasn't on. "Glad to see you're beginning to overcome that shyness of yours." I commented. She looked confused and felt her face realizing her mask was gone, floating away in the pool. She then scrambled to get it back. "I'll say it a thousand times Murakumo, you look fine, there's nothing wrong with your face." I reassured her but, she continued to insist she was ugly. "N...No I'm absolutely hideous." 

With those words I took Minori off me before backing up. "Then how about this," I began as I ran at full speed to the pool before diving straight for her, dragging her into the water and snatching her mask away. "H...Hey give it back!" She demanded. I shook my head. "Nope, until we leave the water park, you have to go without it, this will prove that you look fine?" I requested as I placed the mask on the side of my own head. Defeated, she agreed to it. "I'll give it back by the end of the day." With that, our day of fun truly began

As the day went by we all enjoyed the time we had. It was then that Shiki had an idea. "Hey, like, I know something we could do." "What would that be?" Yozakura inquired. "You guys remember when we went to that resort and we had those cavalry battles? Why not do that on a small scale?" She suggested. "I'm sorry, the what battles?" I asked. Shiki and the others explained that a few months ago, they met up with their other friends at a resort and had cavalry battles, involving four people holding up one person, with each team trying to steal a headband from the other. "Except since we don't have any headbands, and there's only six of us, like, we'll have teams of two each." She explained
