Fine.

It is my fault. He was offended by the words I have said. It's really hard adjusting from friends to this—dating. You don't know if you're crossing the line or not.

If I said this while we're friends, he probably would not be offended and reply something like, "What do you expect? I'm Jughead Jones. Girls chase me around."

"Jug. Please...listen..." I said when I saw him get out of his room, dressed for the party. Just his usual leather jacket and ripped jeans but it's still making him the life of the party.

Actually eversince we started dating, Jug started avoiding party invitations and all because he wanted to hang out with me. So that's why I said that we should go together because I thought that he miss his night life.

It's kinda my fault. I should have just go to party with him even though I am too embarrassed to see his friends. Then we should have not fight at all.

"I'm sorry...babe." I said as I hug him from behind because he's ready to go out. It's actually my first time to call him babe, it's weird. Dating your friend is weird. I don't know what to do. It's like we've known each other as friends but not as lovers.

Tbh, our first date didn't even feel like a first date at all because duh we're always hanging out before we're now dating. We always talk about everything when we're bored resting on taping and even when not taping.

"Baby...I didn't mean it." I used cringy endearment just to catch his attention but he's really on the mood not to talk to me.

He didn't even glance at me when he left his condo. He just left while saying, "Let go, Veronica. I'm not affected by your sweet talks. It's not working."

The fuck is wrong with him? He's such a drama king. I apologize already I keep saying, "I'm sorry." I said while tightening my embrace to him when I feel him took a step forward.

"I want to come too!"

"No, you don't."

"Please babe. Please...don't go."

"Veronica, just go home. Let's talk tomorrow."

"I want to come with you. This is final. I'm not backing up anymore." I said but he didn't even flinch. Why does he have to be so sensitive, he's not like this as a friends. It's so hard to convince him when he's already mad and annoyed.

"Just ditch the party...l'm staying here in you condo. Let's do something?" I said again as I tiptoed and tried to kiss his cheeks.

"Can we just make up and end this fight?" I said asking him.

"Just...go home, Veronica. Let's talk tomorrow. I'm going." He said before unwrapping my hands on his waist and completely vanishing out of my sight

Fine. Now I am annoyed.

I went back to my condo and spent the night watching some movies. Moving to the next  movies, I decided to text him but ended up not texting him at all.

Maybe, tomorrow we'll be okay. I guess.

"So you two fought for the first time?" Cheryl asked when I asked for some advice. Tomorrow came but still no signs of Jughead around even just a text.

"Yeah. Do you think I should go to his condo?" I said looking back to my phone. Waiting for a reply that I just texted him.

Jones:

Hey!!! Morning.

How's the party?

"I think you two need to define the relationship." She said looking seriously at me. I just looked at him and said, "No way."

"Why not?" She insisted while glaring at me.

"We're both not ready...for a relationship." I reasoned out.

The truth is I'm scared because what if we broke up, I will lose a boy best friend and a boyfriend. It's complicated but you need to understand that if you cross the line of dating a best friend, it's over you can't go back to just being a friend at all. It's either together or back to being a stranger.  I guess.

"Well... I don't know about the two of you. Whatever, dumb cows." She said completely annoyed, "If you are both not ready, why the sudden crossing the line?"

"I don't know. I guess we can't stop the attraction anymore. You know the kind of tension you both are feeling then one night, we can't stop anymore."

"So it's kinda like sexual tension?" She said looking at me and I glared at her, "Noooo! I mean I don't know, we hate each other at first then suddenly when we hung out a lot of times, and that's when I realized that I like him."

"What the hell, Lodge? Friendly advice, you need you figure it out." She said.

"It's so clear that you two like each other so what's the point of not being in a relationship? But it's all up to both you, it's okay to take things slow. If you keep holding to a relationship that do not have a label, someone will be hurt at the end." She has a point. But I'm so scared that's why I just want to go with the flow to know if we need to take a next level of just stay us friends.

"You're right. I need to figure this out. We need to figure this relationship." I said.

"Don't settle for less." She adviced. I am very thankful to have Cheryl on my side. 

I hugged Cheryl and said, "I love you!!!" She's the kind of friend that is always there by your side. She's always available when you need her and she will always give advices and all.

She's the friend that you'll run to when you need to be saved or when you need to lift uo your mood. Most importantly, she really says what you need to hear and she really supports whatever decision you're making in your life.

"Love you too! Remember what I've said or I'll kill you!" She said joking and we laughed together.
